Muun gave me the idea to make a greek chariot racer D.va and I had to do it. I thought it would fit her whole theme so well and I could see her praying to Winged Victory Mercy for a win on the races. It was a ton of fun working the horses on her mech design without altering the silhouette too much,

hey have i ever mentioned how much i fucking love space

it’s ENDLESS and yet forever expanding, it’s an ethereal, sparkling, black void that we all exist in and exists within everything, it’s the beginning and the end, it’s terrifying and beautiful with things like black holes and pulsars and supernovae and red giants, things that could easily destroy our tiny, fragile planet, and yet those very things are the things that help create new bodies, that help create life. black holes are found at the center of nearly every known galaxy and are theorized to be the cause of their formations, and new elements are formed in supernovae explosions and spread out into the universe, elements essential for the creation of new planetary bodies and moons and eventually us. 

WE are the stuff of stars, and stars themselves are amazing–they’re the sparkling glitter of the universe, as if gods themselves dropped a glass of beautiful, infinite jewels into the sky, glistening SO BRIGHTLY that we can see them lightyears away. and even after they’ve long died, millions or even billions of years ago, we can still see their ghosts, the light they gave off that is only now reaching us, and the further back you look into those starry skies, the further back in time you see, witnessing the birth of galaxies just like our own, watching our own history through lenses aimed towards the stars. 

and everything is so vast and so new and filled with endless possibilities, there could be LIFE out there that we’ll never get to see but still exists, maybe even pondering themselves if life exists outside their own planet, searching for other beings like them. 

there things that our imagination could never come up with, planets with rings 200 times larger than saturn and planets that likely have diamond cores and vampire star systems, where one star strips materail from the other until it explodes, giant vapors of water, 140 TRILLION times the amount that exists in all of earth’s oceans, theories that include time possibly STOPPING around black holes because time slows down around larger and denser objects, the fact that we have evidence of graviational waves because of a black hole collision, validating Einstin’s theory of general relativity where he theorized they existed, and almost our entire UNIVERSE is mostly made out of Dark Matter and Dark Energy, things that we can’t see touch taste or hear, and we just don’t understand, but we know EXISTS because of how they effect everything around us!!! 

the universe is FILLED histories and stories and AMAZING creations that the human mind could never dream of but has CREATED and we’re just one small part of it, and in this chaotic, beautiful FASCINATING world that we know, the universe somehow managed to give birth to a little star at the end of the milky way, creating a solar system formed from the remnants of a supernovae which eventually led to the right conditions for something as fragile and soft as life to be formed, slowly nurturing creatures that should have long-since died off in our many extinction events, and yet we’ve survived, and lived, and evolved to a point where we can APPREICATE just how VAST and AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL THE UNIVERSE AROUND US IS
