okay i suddenly feel the need to clarify that I am not either of those things😳

The people of Reddit are so wonderful, they immediately diagnosed me as being narcissistic and controlling just from me saying I was once insecure about taking a picture. 10/10 would recommend! 😤👌

1. I like my hair! It’s hell to manage because there’s a lot of it and a lot of frizz but when it sits the right way it can look great! It’s also very long which is again both a positive and a negative.

2. I like that I have a huge sense of humour. I can laugh at pretty much anything. I remember someone told me that there was this rumour that I had a crush on someone and all I could do was laugh. I didn’t even try to stop the rumour because it was just so darn funny to watch people’s reactions. Finding the humour in everything is great.

3. In a similar vein, I like to find the wonder in everything. It sounds awfully cheesy but I like finding the beauty in absolutely everything, whether it’s the sound of water drops, the smell of rain, or the city light at night. I’m also a very, hopeful, optimistic person who enjoys everything.

4. I like that I’m good at stuff! Not sure how much stuff or how good I am, but I like doing stuff I enjoy, like writing, painting, dancing, travelling, meeting new people.

5. I like that I persevere. I like how quickly I can move on from things, and how I try my best to find different ways to achieve things. I like how I built up my confidence from the ground since I was, like, 12, until what it is now. Now, on most days, I’m extremely confident and I’m proud I’ve made it this far by working on myself.

(also quick no. 6 I like my eyes and eyebrows which look very intense and sort of angry if you don’t look at the lower half of my face, and I like my lips. they’re small. ...and as you can tell and as i can see while i write this, i am realizing I am a very confident, maybe even overly confident person) 

Thank you @jeonsbananamilk for the ask!! This was wonderful, it really reminded me of how wonderful I am and how wonderful we all are. This is something nice to look at on my down days.  💜 you!

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd was slowly and mercilessly killed by 4 Minneapolis police officers while being videotaped by concerned citizens begging them to stop. Floyd was surrounded and brutally dealt with by the police as Derek Chauvin’s knee pinned down his throat. Floyd kept screaming “I can’t breathe! I can’t breathe!” but they didn’t listen. He then became unresponsive but was continually choked until his nose began to bleed, and his lifeless body was shoved into a stretcher and into the back of an ambulance.

The officers involved have been fired and the FBI has been called to investigate. But we must do our part to ensure that George Floyd receives the justice he deserves. Please sign these petitions addressed to the FBI, The President, The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, The Minneapolis Police Department, & DA Mike Freeman. An email on your behalf will be sent to all of the above. The lawyer representing Floyd’s family is civil rights attorney Ben Crump urges us to call DA Mike Freeman (612-348-5550) and tell him to arrest and charge these officers for the Murder of George Floyd, I encourage you to do so.
