“I know how it works,” Severus glared. “I just-” He did not play games. Usually. But if normality was anything to go by, then he wouldn’t have been sitting at a nightclub either. He pushed out a sigh after a short pause, almost deflating a little bit. He wasn’t going to pick truth, so - “Dare.”

“I don’t fear things, and if she has something to say, she can say it to my pretty face.” Dulce’s eyes were narrowed, and she had taken two steps closer to the girl who had made comments under her breath. She wasn’t a violent person, but she could be a violent person. “Wanna say it again?”

Bo took a step forward when Dulce did, never taking his eyes off her. He didn’t want a fight to happen, not here of all places. Not when he was horribly underdressed - bare chested and only clad in pajama pants - and right in the middle of a gaggle of wand wigglers. “It’s fine,” he tried again, “don’t give them the time of day. They want attention, don’t give it to them.” He shot a glance towards the group of witches, who’d been sneering at them whenever they came into view. At any of the muggles present at the party, really.

“The difference,” Bo began, narrowing his eyes at his friend. “That one is valiant and courageous, and the other is just plain stupid.”

“What? They started it and my daddy has always said, if someone wants to start it, finish it even better.” One more look was shot over her shoulder at the group before her full attention was on Bo. That attention started at Bo’s chest, bare and on full display, and she had to really focus to make herself look up and into his eyes with a dazzling grin. “Alright then, truth or dare, hotrod?”

He was just about to comment something teasing and mischievous, something along the lines of my eyes are up here, when she shot him a grin that had him a little weak in the knees. His back collided with one of the barstools. “Dare,” he responded, looking over his shoulder and ordering them two shots of... whatever was served in this wizard bar. “Hit me.”

“I don’t think that in the slightest. And even if I did, I would argue that I’ve proven myself to you… several times in several ways since we’ve known one another. Lighten up, will you? It’s a party.”

Involuntarily, the corners of his lips twitched into a small smirk. Several times, several ways. Deidra had a way of talking around the more blunt and obvious statements that Nickelos admired quite a bit. “So, if you did, without arguing, what would you do to prove yourself to me again?”
