Okay This Might Just Be Me Spouting My Usual Bullshittery, But This Part In The Ending, With Ciel Falling

Okay this might just be me spouting my usual bullshittery, but this part in the ending, with Ciel falling from the sky. (Keep in mind that "Ciel" is French for "sky/heaven.")

Also huge spoilers for those who haven't caught up to the manga, just in case any new fans are reading this.

I have a feeling this sequence foreshadows Ciel's fall from grace (or rather, the loss of his earl title and the persona he's worked so hard to create once his twin brother, the real Ciel shows up.) Hence, him falling from the sky as we see here.

A lot of my lore and design for the ardens is something I thought of myself without basing it off something else. However there will still be some things that I overlook and later think a lot about.

One of these things is the last name arden because when I decided on that last name for my three siblings, I didn't notice that there was already a canon character with that same last name. It took me around a year to notice this and when I did, I was like: "shit now I have to make him part of the lore". And fortunately it fits in quite well.

The second thing that continues to bother me to this day is alois because he and percy have a striking resemblance design wise. Percys design was based off characters like killua from hunter x hunter or mikhail from vanitas no carte because I always liked the fluffy, white hair with a lot of his colors being green because that's his favorite color. But now anytime I see fanart of alois (or worse, cosplays) i just immediately think about percy because they're both different shades of blond, around the same age (alois is probably a bit older though) and have a somewhat similar hairstyle. And it was all completely unintentional.

I've been thinking about drawing them together for shits and giggles because of that little joke now. Though alois and percy are so different personality wise, percy would be quite intimidated and shocked by alois bold and often times rude honesty. And especially by how easy it is for alois to just flirt with someone (I think he did act quite flirty and cheeky with lizzy to piss of ciel), percy would be like :0 since that's what he struggles the most with
