You know what? Maybe you did know better! Maybe you didn’t do your best. There are a lot of posts that talk about “give yourself grace. You didn’t know better. You didn’t know then what you know now”.

And it’s a great message. I’ve shared it too! But maybe you did know better and still made bad decisions. Maybe you knowingly didn’t do your best. And you know what? You still deserve your compassion and forgiveness.

As someone who’s in the process of getting diagnosed and treated for ocd inside out 2 genuinely feels like such a comfort to me in this new chapter of my life.

To me Riley feels like a kid who could in the future develop ocd /intrusive tendencies and she reminds me of myself when I was a child . Anxiety especially when they where all like “see you when where 18, maybe later , idk but love you bye it’s until I figured EVERYTHING OUT.” But hopefully she narrowly avoided getting ocd.

Point is I loved it and I love anxiety it made me view my intrusive much more kindly in the moment.
