But tbh their story served no purpose to the overall plot and I think after establishing they’re dating that the rest of the time should of been spent developing Fiona and cake. Because it really feels like it should of been called “The Simon Show” with how little time we spend on Fionna and cake SPECIFICALLY

Or even the time could of been spent exploring more worlds , the litch and how he’s a foil to Simon , FREAKING BETTY

Like if you took the Gary and marshal lee plot out it really wouldn’t change the show much so while I love them it’s disappointing how they didn’t service the plot at all
