Lost And Found ~ Jughead X Reader

Lost and Found ~ Jughead x reader

Part 2  Part 3  Part 4

Word count: 1,359

Warnings: none that I can see

Summary: The reader isn’t living with her parents any more and is looking for a place to crash. She meets Jughead.

A/N: This takes place during the first season, around episodes 4 to 7.

Looking around the small and dusty little hut I collected the last few of my belongings, stuffing them into my backpack. Lately I was living in this old and abandoned hut on the outskirts of Riverdale. It was hidden by a grove of trees so that it wasn’t easily visible from the street that led by. I really liked the place, it was quiet and peaceful, a safe haven of my own, but no matter how idyllic it was I had to move. Over the years of being abandoned and not taken care of the building, it had become rather unstable. Just a few days ago when I left for school I was almost hit on the head by a loose roof tile. So I finally made the decision to find a new place.

Walking over the little table under the old glass window I reached for the picture that was lying there. I sighed when I saw it. It was a photo of me and my parents. It was already bent from being carried around without a frame. The last time I saw my family must’ve been almost a year ago. We had a huge fight about morals and how my dad should get a grip on his life which ended in me deciding to leave. I wouldn’t live in a household where alcohol was drunk like water.

After finally being finished I carefully sneaked out of the shed not wanting anyone to see me. I hadn’t told any about my living situation and I wanted to keep it that way. The pity. Seeing it in their eyes whenever they set them on me – I hated it. It was not like I was a damsel in distress. I knew exactly what I was doing and I did not want or need their pity. To be completely honest, I actually kinda enjoyed my new lifestyle – moving from one place to the next, never knowing where I would end up or what I would discover. It was fun. Adventurous. Thrilling. Exciting. Reminiscing about everything I’ve experienced so far, I made my way to the best diner in town.

When I arrived at Pop’s I entered and ordered a coffee. Receiving my drink I moved past the tables and sat down at one further away from the door. I often came here. I loved sitting in silence and observing all the different customers. Sometimes it were just teenagers hanging out after school, trying to forget all the stress exam season held for them. Other times it were families with annoying children crying for desert. Once in a while I even saw a few Serpents quickly passing by.

This time when I looked up I noticed that most booths were empty as it was already late – the sky outside quickly darkening. The closest booth that was occupied was a few tables down on the other side of the aisle. Sitting there next to the window was a guy my age, wearing a grey crown shaped beanie, on the table in front of him there was a laptop. He had raven, slightly curly hair and mesmerizing light blueish-green eyes. His eye brows furrowed in concentration as he focused on the words he was writing.

I had seen him around a few times, mostly in school hanging out with Archie, Betty and the new girl – Veronica Lodge, the popular raven haired girl. His name was Jughead Jones.

Although he was friends with them, was a part of their group he was an outsider. He was different, dressed differently, had a different view of things. Being quiet and keeping to yourself, like he often did, didn’t make you popular – didn’t make people like you.

And believe me I know what I’m talking about. For I too am an outsider. I am the girl in the back of the class, the girl that everyone forgets about. The quiet one that has no friends. Normally I enjoyed going more or less unnoticed that way I didn’t have to spend my time with talking to people or something like that. But sometimes I hated being that girl. Sometimes I just wished I could be like Betty and Veronica, be ‘normal’ - whatever exactly that was.

I was ripped out of my gloomy thoughts by the waitress asking whether I wanted anything else, so I ordered another cup of coffee. When the woman went to get my drink I focused back on Jughead. He was still concentrated on the text he was writing, still typing in the separate letters with such a passion I hadn’t seen with anyone in a long time. Wondering what he was writing I kept observing his actions. He seemed so mysterious, that was what I liked about him.

When my order arrived I thanked the lady and reached for my backpack and took my sketchbook and a pencil out. I liked sketching, it was sort of therapeutic, it helped me sort my thoughts and I often came up with good ideas. In hope of getting an idea of where I could stay next I started drawing the handsome boy I had never actually spoken to.

Once in a while when Jughead looked up from the monitor he caught me starring at him. Replying with a look of suspicion he then turned back to his work. It was obvious that he didn’t trust people easily.

After a few silent hours sitting there with my pen in hand, I had finally thought of a place to go and was on my way to the only more or less safe place I could think of at the moment – Riverdale High.

The next morning I awoke in the stuffy little room I found at school. It was located towards the front of the school near the entrance. The supply closet wasn’t really used any more – at least I hadn’t seen anyone ever enter the room and the dust that had collected on the shelves supported my theory.

Still tired I stretched and bumped my hands on the rather low ceiling. 6:00 am – it felt like it was a lot earlier than that. I had to get dressed and ready before school started, so I moved over to my back pack and took out my clothes. Grabbing my grey jeans and black long sleeved shirt in one hand and my toothbrush and some other toiletries in my other hand I made my way on to the main hallway.

Recalling the where the showers were situated I remembered that the women’s showers were located on the far end of the building while the men’s were right around the corner. I knew I should take the long way to the female one but who am I kidding here, it’s way too early in the morning, I was lazy and I was the only person here at this ungodly hour. So my decision was pretty obvious and therefore quickly made.

I turned the corner to the boy’s tiled facilities and stopped dead in my tracks. Unlike I expected I actually wasn’t the only person here. There, standing only a few feet in front of me, he was.

Jughead.

When I walked in he looked up at me in surprise only to meet my shocked expression. Jughead was standing at one of the sinks, a toothbrush in his mouth. He was shirtless, only wearing grey pants with his typical suspenders. I had to admit that he was definitely good looking, more muscular than I would’ve suspected. His head wasn’t adorned by his signature grey hat – I had never seen this much of his gorgeous locks. After spitting out the foam and rinsing his mouth he leaned on the edge of the sink.

I was still rooted to the floor watching him cautiously. “What are you doing here?”, he questioned raising an eyebrow. At that question I crossed my arms defensively in front of my chest. “I could ask you the same”, I replied defensively. Silence answered me. Of course he wouldn’t. So I gave in, “I’m crashing here. Got a problem?”, and carried on to the showers without waiting to hear his reply.

Scot in shining armour ~ Jamie Fraser x reader

image

Picture not mine

Word count: 1,772

Warnings: sexual assault, (attempted) rape

A/N: The title derives from the saying ‘Knight in shining armour’.

The sounds of my steps were thrown back and forth as I was quickly walking through the old stone corridors of the grand Castle Leoch. When I passed one of the narrow, slitted windows I saw the dark night sky littered with bright stars, noticing it was late at night. I shortly paused in my steps admiring the astounding constellations. Soon the Northern Lights would be visible again.

The chatter that quietly rang from the great hall released me out of my trance reminding me of why I was running through the keep of Leoch. Being a servant and an assistant to the lovely Mrs. Fitz was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. I was born the daughter of a poor farmer and his wife but when the English came to our home a few months ago I was the only one to survive the Redcoat raid brought along by Black Jack Randall. Luckily I was picked up by Dougal and his men. Now after weeks and weeks had gone by I felt like the rough red haired warriors were part of my family.

Carrying on on the way to the kitchens to fetch another pitcher of ale I heard new voices, closer now. They were coming from somewhere up ahead. It was unusual that people would stray this early into the feast from the great hall. Rounding the next corner I stopped dead in my tracks. There in front of me were two clansmen that I didn’t recognize clad in the plaid kilts leaning against the wall. When they saw me they smiled at each other and leisurely pushed themselves off of the cold stone walls. They were clearly drunk.

I immediately backed up knowing I had no chance against the two burly men. Mrs. Fitz always warned us about these situations and we girls always listened to her knowing words and scurried off into our chambers as soon as she told us to. But usually these situations would only be dangerously possible later in the night around the stroke of midnight when hardly any alcohol was left.

I took another step backwards and... bumped into something. Not the wall. It was softer and warmer. I froze in my step knowing that it was the chest of an ally of the men I was hoping to get away from. I didn’t know what to do. The highlander began to chuckle and said: “What do we have here?” He set his big hands on my waist as one of his companions replied: “We found ourselves a little entertainment.” I was scared out of my mind. The only thought running through my head was ‘No way out’, over and over.

The warm hands, separated from my body and virtue only through a few layers of fabric, started moving and roaming my body. Down to my hips.  Up to my chest. The eyes of the other two men following eagerly what they did. Then suddenly the rough hand was dipped down the valley of my breasts. This freed me of my shock. Screaming I pushed myself away from him. The clansman grabbed a fistful of my hair and pulled me back.

Right at that moment a figure appeared behind the two other assaulters. When he stepped into the light coming in from one of the windows I recognized it to be young Jaime the nephew of the laird. Over the last few months I had started to develop feelings for the good looking lad. Always too scared to act on it I never had exchanged more than a few simple words with him. “Well, well, well, what’s going on here?”, he said shaking his head in mock-disappointment, before he punched the henchman standing the closest to him in the face, knocking him out cold.

After taking out the second man Jamie turned towards me. I was still struggling in the grip of my attacker. Now having bigger problems than holding me tight the Scot behind me let go of me and faced the red haired opponent. The last man didn’t stand long either and the sheer strength of the unusually tall lad brought him down. After all of the three men lay unconscious on the floor Jaime turned around to me.

“Are ye alright?”, he inquired in his amazingly soothing voice. Blushing madly I lowered my head and rushed off embarrassed, not able to face him in a moment when he looked so gorgeous – hair lightly tousled, breathing heavily.

~time skip~

It was late one night after the feast of the Oath taking. All the men from around the clans lands had come to celebrate and swear allegiance and fealty to Colum. More or less all of them were now drunk and unconscious, probably lying somewhere on the floor not having made it to their chambers. All of the maids and women were already in their rooms.

I was still in the kitchens finishing cleaning the dishes. There were stacks and stacks of dirty dishes. I wanted to finish them before I went to bed. If I would leave them I knew Mrs. Fitz, who always got up before the sun rose and before any of us servants left our rooms, would then clean the dishes. I didn’t want to leave that work to her as well. She always did so much for us.

Reaching for some dirty plates I froze hearing some noise out in the hallway to the kitchen. Quickly I set down the tableware in the sink. Becoming more nervous my hand inched towards a kitchen knife that lay close by. I cautiously turned towards the door when the noise started to sound like footsteps that came closer to the door. Tightening my fingers around the handle of the blade I waited.

Suddenly the wooden door swung open. At first I only saw the tartan of the MacKenzie kilts and the for the close family members of Colum and Dougal characteristic red locks. After deciphering the mess of fabric, hair and limbs that came stumbled in I noticed it was my saviour, Jamie. I released a breath I didn’t even notice I was holding. When Jamie noticed me standing in the empty kitchen, he was surprised as he didn’t expect to meet anyone here. I quietly put my makeshift weapon down without the young Scot noticing it.

“What are you doin’ ‘ere?”, he asked me surprised. “I could ask you the same.” “Well”, he walked over to the table. “I was in the stables and missed dinner”, he explained while scanning the wooden table for something to eat.

“Wait here. I can get ye some of the food that is left.” I quickly hurried off, collecting some bannock and meat on a clean plate. Bringing it back to him I told the handsome lad why I wasn’t yet in my chambers.

“So, how come you missed the feast? None of the other men would ever miss these celebrations”, I wondered aloud when turning back to the sink. Jamie sat down on a stool only a few feet away from me. In between bites he clarified his situation with being the possible heir for Colum and how it was better for him to avoid the difficult decision of what to do by staying with the horses and out of the sight of the chieftain and war-chieftain.

The two of us kept talking about this and that. Right when I was finished doing the dishes and had started tidying them up, Jamie asked me: “So, where do ye come from originally? Ye arena a MacKenzie and I havena seen you around for long?” “No, I’m no MacKenzie. I came to Leoch only a few months ago”, I began telling the lad.

When I came to the part about Dougal finding me I walked over to the self with all the glasses on it. It was higher up than I expected. Standing up on my tiptoes I tried to set the fine wine glass that I was holding next to its brothers and sisters.

As I couldn’t reach I tried to push it up onto the wooden board with my fingertips. Slipping from my grip the filigree glass started falling. I tried to catch but it was out of my reach. If anyone would notice that one of the wine glasses was missing I would be in so much trouble, it was one of the fancy and expensive ones.

Suddenly Jamie’s big hand wrapped it’s fingers around the falling object. While I was starting to panic hadn’t even become aware of the man, in who’s company I was, moving. Now I was more than aware of him standing right behind me, his chest pressed to my back. I held my breath. I never had been in an awkward situation like this. Jamie set the glass down next to my fingers that were nervously holding onto the wooden counter in front of me.

As I turned around I quietly said: “Thank you”, looking at his chest that was right at eye level. I looked up and was met with the Scot's bright blue eyes. He carefully laid his hands on my upper arms. Leaning down a little towards me he inquired: “Why did you run away when we met in the corridors a few days ago? Was it something I did or said? Did I insult you in any way?”

At that question I dropped my eyes to the floor embarrassed. “I...I...I” When I looked up I only saw sincere wonder in his eyes. I rested my small hands on his muscular chest. “I was embarrassed and looked so handsome with your hair all messed up”,I admitted.

That was when Jamie gently caressed my cheek. “You think I’m good looking?” “Yes.”

My counterpart started to slowly lean in and I closed my eyes. Only a second later the lips that I was dreaming of since I met him connected with mine. They were warm and soft unlike I expected them to be. At first the kiss started out hesitant and lovingly but as I was kissing back Jamie became more sure of him self.

As the kiss became more demanding his hands wandered over my body. My own hands moved from his chest to around his neck. Suddenly he picked me up and carried me over to one of the tables. Without breaking the kiss Jamie pushed the pans and baskets full of things away and set me down. His hands moved to my hair as we carried on kissing.

So, I'm only in season three, but I thought it would be cool to do a Sean Renard x reader where reader is Freddy and Rosalee's sister and when Freddy was murdered, she was brought in for questioning and Sean saw her for the first time walking out of the precinct and when Sean gets more involved with Team Grimm (that's what I call the main group), he gets to know her better while she helps run the spice shop. It just sounds like a fun idea -&

I like the idea. But I’m not sure if I’ll write it. It’s hard for me to write fanfiction for characters that I myself don’t really feel attracted to. I mean I like Sean but not in in a romantic way. I’ll think about it. Maybe I’ll try to write something with Sean. If you have anymore ideas for Nick or Monroe send them my way, as I will more likely be inspired to write about them.

The snake

The Snake

They always warn you of the snake.

Their words: “Be careful my child, it’ll bite you. Don’t you see the pure evil in its eyes?”

Like all children we of course disobeyed their orders and we set out to search for the snake.

At first I didn’t trust it. That changed when it started whispering in my ear.

The danger of being around it made the adrenaline rush through my veins.

But it never hurt me. It became my companion, my friend.

It might’ve hurt you but I never noticed. And one day you didn’t join me on our visits anymore. And I had the snake all to myself.

The smoothness and coldness of its curves calmed me down and warmed my heart.

The snake slowly and secretly slithered its way into my heart.

And now I can’t spend a day without thinking of its green scales.

It will slither its way into your heart too.

Would it be alright if I sent you some Grimm ideas? I've only gotten through the first two seasons so far, but I think I have a few ideas. -&

Sure! I would love to hear them, but it might take a while ‘til I get around to writing them.
