I think if I were to ever do a Modern AU of the New Faith, each of the kids will have a job or hobby they love and are really good at

Huey would be a DJ and is never seen without his headphones and laptop on her person

Harri volunteers around at various soup kitchens and is studying to open her own charity one day. In fact its through volunteering that she meets Baal and Aym

Blossom isn’t entirely sure what she wants to do but she’s happy with the family business (Leshy’s side of the family has a flower shop and runs the local community garden)

Athena is about to go into her first year of college (she is advanced by a year) and she’s sneaking her kinda secret girl friend into classes so she can get an education too (Stella is from the rougher part of town and Athena wants to help her girl out)

I think it'd fuck to have an advanced survival mode in cotl where you'd have to account for seasons and such though I think it would require a lot of tweeking with the base games mechanics to make it work. The base management portion is fun but pretty simply and I think I'm order to make it more complex you'd have to change the way time passes in crusades to keep the gameplay feedback loop balanced.
