Day5 Peer into the darkness. I had a sketch from like a month ago just playing around with some ideas. Sketch dumps today cuz I had an adhd moment with the next prompt and wanted to put some extra attention on it :3

7days! 22hours total, and started on the 9th! I want to cry! And it’s because of the stupid dresses for ritual night!!!! Anyways…let’s see if I can get yesterday and today in cuz I did not expect this to take 5 days to draw TTATT Days done here are: ritual, this death was painful, bishops’ relics, poison, and blood..

Day 28: Genocide.

Goat, just like Lambert, is the last of his kind. And this fact torments him daily. He feels guilt over the fact that he outlived his race (even if it was no fault of his) and is pressured by his own conscience to never forget the tragedy, and to promise himself that if the chance ever comes, to try to re-populate …. Using his own seed.

He won’t show up until the main arc is over.

Also, I got confused with the days.

Day 29: Claws

“O-Oh crowns… What have I done ?!”

Narinder’s betrayal was not planned. Nor he had the intention of doing the things he did to his family…… until it happened.

It happened in the spur of the moment. One moment he had asked his siblings to meet up with him, and before he knows it, he wakes up in an unfamiliar place. Chained up. Alone….. bloodied.

He initially did not remember what had happened and was incredibly confused…. But when he did, all he could do was stare at his claws. Horrified with what he had done.

Day 31: Fungus

“Sozo once had family… friends… now, all Sozo has are mushrooms”

Not much is known about Sozo before he arrived at the lands of the old faith 1050 years ago. He came from the mainland and was something called “a doctor” which resembled a job similar to that of a healer (Doctors are NOT common in the island). He seemed interested on investigating and experimenting with the local flora of the land in search of their medical properties. Sadly, no one had warned him to avoid raw menticide mushrooms….

Sozo will appear later on in the fanfic.

Day 22: Get drunk

“The demigod cousins meet up for the happy hour at the pub house, in order to catch a drink and catch up with each other. Since it’s their first time drinking without any of their parents present, they may have gone overboard with the booze…..”

These babies are part of a different Au called “parenthood”. Their names are (from left to right) Oldrock, Storm and Thalassa.

Day 25: pinned

“The canine’s eyes first opened wide in surprise, then squinted for a few minutes with confusion, before finally a conclusion reached him. One that made his eyes sharpen with savage fury.

Before the rat could muster another word, the fox’s hands were grasping on his neck, claws digging deep”.

A scene from another AU, where Lamb is a young a child when the cultists of the old faith finally catch them. In it, Ratau is forced to return to Narinder’s service as a regent vessel until lamb reaches maturity.

The only explanation I can give about what is going on is that the fox’s reason for wishing Ratau’s death is directly related as the main reason why Ratau abandoned his cult in the first place.

Day 27: Eyes

“Darkwood flora has always been… unique. Although, it is hard to say if it was the result of He of Havoc’s influence, or something that existed before he did”.

I have to say, Darkwood’s design has always been an interesting one. The interactive comic in the pilgrim pack DLC definitely gave it justice too.

Day 14: Burned

“Liar, Liar. Your world’s on fire”.

Shamura may be the oldest of their siblings, but they were actually born a few centuries before the event that eradicated most of godhood took place. Barely a teen, actually, when it started.

The slaughter of the sheep, while a horrible, it’s not something that frequents their nightmares. Don’t get me wrong, they feel terribly guilty for the genocide…. When lucid with reality.

What torments them the most, specially when out of touch with reality, is the things they directly did (or didn’t do) to their godly peers.

The whole mess of Narinder’s imprisonment and their other siblings’s getting wounded being the most recent one. Shamura blames themselves for not seeing the signs of the disaster about to happen sooner and not protecting their kin (Narinder included, in a way).

But that isn’t the only thing that haunts their fragile mind…..

When they were younger, back when the old faith wasn’t even a thing, they met 3 gods. 3 gods that taught them different things. 3 gods that they murdered in cold blood when the chance arrived to do so. Of the 3 gods, they actually developed a deep emotional bond with 2 of them. This made their crime the more painful and guilt-griven.

None of the main cast knows about this. Not even their own blood. They swore to keep the fact their hands were bloodied since before the old faith a secret to take to the grave….. but…. Their mind is not what it used to be. They may… let some things slip.

Anyway, this prompt is more symbolic than anything else. Shamura is filled with secrets. Secrets that have been weighting their conscience for most of their lifetime.

And lies too. Lies that will burn their surroundings into chaos once they catch up with them, and are set free.

ANYWAYS! Here's some sketches of me VERY SLOWLY getting through the cotltober prompts (credit to @stychu-stych again, these prompts are so fun!) - currently finished week 1's sketches XD

You are who you eat, with Lotus happily consuming a Follower Meat Stew (you can probably guess who XD); Heart, with Lotus going just a lil mad and consuming the heart of their first follower, who's called Theoron (the lack of lower body has a reason, i swear, i wasn't just being lazy lol); Rise from the dead, showcasing Lotus' first resurrection - specifically, their one after accepting Narinder's deal; Lose your head, Lotus' sacrifice to the Old Faith; Peer into the darkness, Lotus and Ratau having a nice lil talk by the campfire ^^ nothing suspicious here, Ratau isn't shitting bricks, he swears; and Ritual, Lotus' first Sacrifice Ritual.

When I've finally finished the pieces, I plan on writing little story/lore pieces to go along with them, but I also wanted to give lil snippets of the context for each~
