what I would like for TYBW anime adaptation to be expanded on:

SPOILERS FOR BOTH TYBW AND HELL CHAPTER

unohana. that’s it. her backstory, her bankai, how she became 1st kenpachi and how did she stop. show other kenpachi like azashiro, kiganjō and others too.

more of ukitake. about him and his illness, how much reiatsu did he have, that he was to be sent to hell like yama. how did he became a captain despite his illness and fatigue.

a whole arc about the OG gotei 13. i don’t care if it will be taking too much of air time: it must happen. and if I dare dream big: kubo will confirm it to be canon as well! so. yama + OG squad. finally seeing more of chōjirō too, because their relationships are crucial for yamamoto spiraling down and going to the battlefield blinded by emotions which we never saw him do before.

OBVIOUSLY we need to see an actual thousand year blood war in action! yhwach in his prime! who were the sternritter back then, besides obvious ones like jugram and bazz b? coming from what we know schutzstaffel were supposed to be there already too. how did gotei 13 managed to win? how did they counter almighty? and someone like lille and gerard? plus WHO did it and why where there no records about said quincy for kisuke and mayuri to check? so many questions. answers are needed!

coming from the last one. where were all quincy all this time? we’re they ‘under’ gotei all the time? what did they thing about aizen? did they consider him a threat or a possible ally before making him one of war potentials. how did they take over hueco mundo without anyone noticing when kisuke clearly had ties with grimmjow. how did quincy came up with ‘stealing bankai’ technology? who developed it? how it they knew it would’ve worked in battle. more of their ‘every day’ shenanigans before the 1st invasion. backstories on all more important sternritters. why did they join, how it came to be, their relationships with each other which we got a pretty good glimpse off but tbh I wouldn’t mind getting more of it.

more of uryū and his perspective. more of his thoughts. tbh I would prefer for it to be clear from the start that he’s joining yhwach only for revenge, because the idea of him turning on ichigo and co. was too shaky and unbelievable.

(will add a TW for this one: grooming, child abuse) maybe it will be unpopular but sorry not sorry. since we’re talking about yhwach ‘fav boys’. jugram needs more exposure. chapters about his relationships with bazz b? excellent, top notch, everything I dreamed off! BUT. kubo kinda hinted at something there with him being abused by his uncle his whole childhood and there comes yhwach and tells this child that he needs him. it can serve an excellent example of manipulation, grooming and just how much the idea of being ‘needed’ was presented by the wrong person. how jugram accepted his role and everything that comes with his position so quickly. when did yhwach choose him as his ‘other half’ to handle the almighty while he’s sleeping. those small details are so fascinating.

+ on the same not but idk if I should be mentioning it separately but how the hell did bazz b join the wandenreich after trying to kill yhwach heh. on the same note, were jugram and bazz b the only ones who initially wanted yhwach dead? were there any more quincy who disagreed with his views and goals? that would be interesting to know I think.

more attention payed to idea that ichigo could’ve been used as a new soul king because he represented all races in him. and same goes to ginjo. just? huh? question mark question mark question mark? will need to talk about that because this is some hard hitting shit about gotei and soul society as a whole. that no, the substitute shinigami badge bullshit aside, this is what we need to talk more about.

obviously more of zero division. idk how exactly we might get it but we really need more of them. they had so much potential and still are a very nice set of characters but they need more time to properly shine. maybe they were the ones who helped in actual TYBW? do we know? no we don’t, but we should. just maybe give them a few more battles to fight in the past or present. at least some flashbacks to them showing why they are said to be stronger than gotei 13 as a collective. can they be replaced? we know they can’t die until soul palace isn’t destroyed or something. and we know one can be promoted to be in zero division, but do they retire? who many members of zero squad can there be. c’mon, kubo, give is the flavor! + to it I would say, give us more time in royal palace as a whole. not only ichigo’s training but just with zero division and maybe a little bit of byakuya recovering and all that good staff.

that’s it for now. i might update it later with more ideas though.
