Some things I found noteworthy of Hal from a small binge watching of SMG4 episodes in no particular order

Hal Monitor can in fact breakdance. This man can literally bust it down to reel you in, and by the time you realize it, his crew probably already has you walking to the car in cuffs.

2. Hal's face plate/monitor screen has seen some updates offscreen, allowing him to eat/drink like everybody else. I think it was the moment he and Meggy had in the "SMG4: Officer Meggy" episode that made him actually realize he hadn't eaten before (trying to mimic other coworkers behavior).

3. Transforming. Into. Other. Machines/Vehicles. I don't think anyone talks about this enough but Hal has transformed into a CAR, A TANK, A SENTRY GUN, AND EVEN GOT THE BODY OF OPTIMUS PRIME AT ONE POINT WHAT THE SCALLOP??? Only headcanon I can give that goes with this is that Jr. inherited this ability from his dad.

4. Warping through video recording devices. I think this is also very interesting because man can just be ANYWHERE in no time at all.

Am I just making this to make notes for any future writings/comics/headcanons I make of this guy?

The first night wasn't the easiest...

And introducing the brother of the hour: Verdant Mushroom! Punchy's older brother/parental figure!

Verdant, while mostly stoic towards others, was always quickly switching up to share his feelings with Punchy. The duo's folks weren't always available due to their "habits" and "discussions" as he put it, but they made due. Verdant was taking up any odd job he could to make enough money on the side to buy themselves a couple tickets to a new life in the Mushroom Kingdom. But with a recent upping in rent price costing them possibly getting out unscathed, Verdant makes the sacrifice to pay for Punchy's ticket and wait for another chance to pay for his own.

Punchy misses his brother, and for the first few nights was waking up in cold sweats from nightmares of Verdant telling him to "Get out" in a much more cruel voice, almost sounding like someone else... Punchy blames himself for not making enough to help, for not doing "anything" and as such has been trying to take up jobs to send Verdant in hopes of paying for a ticket to reunite once again.

Shroomy just hopes the Luncheon Kingdom opens up soon, just so he can finally stop lying about "sending Vert the money" for Punchy's sake and unite the brothers once again.

I made another oc! She's kind of like a "fanchild" but also not?? Her name is Cheese the cake, she's a inspiring young chef who wants to be just like her idols Sprout and Cosmo <:] but she has ALOT to learn!
