I know it’s not Greek Mythology but I haven’t had any ideas all day so instead it’s SCP 166, one of my favourites, for day 6!

“Come on, as long as we keep the proper precautions, it should be fine!” He argued, “And you have to admit that he’s kinda cute, jumping and clinging onto us like that.” He tried appealing to Eurylochus’ softer side.

“He looks like he’s been stuck in a cave without seeing the sun for a decade. And to remind you, a zombie jumping onto you is NOT cute!” He argued back.

I know I said Greek Gods but that was a mistake 😅 I meant characters in Greek mythology! Anyways, today I decided to draw Troilus since I’ve gotten a little obsessed with him right now and wanted to mess around with my art style (I swear not all of these drawings will be Apollo themed)

Okay so yapping time about this AU! (Ignore any mistakes, it is midnight here 👍)

okay, so first things first; Polites, Odysseus and Eurylochus work for the same company as Odysseus as CEO and they have to go on a lot of different business trips. The last one they go on before the apocalypse was to Greece, meaning once it began they got stuck there.

A few months passed and while most things have became chaotic, Odysseus managed to keep things under control with Eury and Poli, motivated by wanting to return home to his wife and son (of course).

But one day, after getting ambushed, Polites gets scratched in the leg by a zombie. Odysseus is acting as if it’s fine, silently praying that because it wasn’t a bite, that Polites would be okay. Unfortunately, Polites does turn.

Eurylochus and Odysseus argue about what they should do with their friend, Eurylochus thinks it’s too dangerous to keep him around and that they should just put him out of his misery, but Odysseus refuses, stating that one day there might be a cure. Eurylochus hesitantly agrees but makes a deal that Polites will stay muzzled.

To both of their surprises, Polites is fine with being muzzled and doesn’t even try to attack them. If anything, he seems more clingy than usual. Odysseus uses this as another reason to keep Polites alive.

Polites is basically like their guard dog, super affectionate around them but doesn’t hesitate to defend his friends. He doesn’t usually act on his urges to kill humans but one day Eurylochus has a pretty bad wound and Polites goes feral for a bit, especially since his muzzle has fallen off. They are both fine afterwards but Eurylochus makes sure to be nowhere around Polites when he’s hurt.

That’s basically all I have for now, there is still some plot to be worked on but I do know Polited does get cured and is (mostly) okay!
