For the Prince!Soap Knight!Ghost

maybe soap gets kidnapped by a rival kingdom and ghost rescues him (ofc soap had it under control bc ghost is such a good teacher),

or just soap slipping away from some pretentious party to get away from all the snobs and he runs to ghost to hang out.

Just my thoughts.

ok here's the situation: my school is doing a student Lit. magazine. there is an option for short fiction, the only requriement is that is doesn't exceed 3500 words. I've been convinced to submit a gay, military fic

here are some of my options, also feel free to give other suggestions bc im kinda running out of ideas :(

I can use the mind reading soap experimented post

I can use they cyber-city post that's been sitting partially finished in my drafts since august

i can do an open-ended, kinda ambiguous post-death convo either between A) soap and death abt leaving ghost [post mw3 maybe] or B) onesided convo between soap and ghost [one alive one a literal ghost]

I can figure out how to expand on prince!soap and knight!ghost

something else of your suggestion

also I will need someone to A) let me scream at about whatever option I do, and give me honest feedback even if it's to tell me it looks like shit. and B) maybe a couple people to beta read

This is realy important!!

And not only real, actual literature from people who wittnesed that, but also getting visuals and actual experiences.

I'm german, and we get taught thoroughly on WW2 in 9th grade. I don't know if it's mandatory, but my teacher read stories from holocaust survivers e.g. diary entries of people who got forcibly removed out of their house and shipped off and showed us pictures of, for example the mountain of glasses in Auschwitz, and the barracks.

In my school it's also normal to go to a labour camp (Arbeitslager) and everything was talked about thoroughly and without censoring it to make it "more digestible for children". (We weren't really children, but barely around 14 is still young).

Yes, I was horrified. Yes, I am still horrified. But I know what happened and I will never forget it, which is the point of teaching this in school, isn't it?

This really helped me, and many others, understand the horrors of what happened and the dark chapter in our history, and I think that is very important to understand.

Even if you're not german.

Edit: My teacher also gave us the opportunity to watch schindler's list with him. It wasn't mandatory like the visit to the camp but still, very helpful and many took that opportunity.
