Haha yes, I suppose that DOES make it into quite a few of my fics. Sue me, I like it.
I think for me it's the implications of the hoodie-sharing. Like yes, you're wearing my clothes, but it's also that my clothes are protecting you. My hoodie is keeping you warm. It's surrounding you with my smell (doesn't have to be A/B/O) and maybe even my bodyheat, if I just took it off. My hoodie is a barrier between the world and your skin. My hoodie is covering your back and your soft underbelly. My hoodie is me, wrapped around you. My hoodie is a physical representation of the care that I want to provide for you, because it's soft and it makes you feel safe and you deserve things like that. My hoodie is a visible claim of mine on you, a sign to the people that want to hurt you that you're protected by me. It's an advertisement, a comfort, a warning, a marking of territory. It's emotional love brought forth and made physical, adoration and devotion translated into a conceivable act.
I'm so glad you like hoodie-sharing too. :)
