OMG OMG OMGGGG

ALR SO I WAS LAYING DOWN, JUST DOING A SHIFTING ATTEMPT AND I WAS LOSTENING TO A SUBLIMINAL. I was counting and when I reached 20, I affirmed something along the lines of "I got this" "I can shift" "tonight is the night" "tonight is the night I shift" AND SUDDENLY I FELT A PULL?

It was a pull deep inside of me that pulled me down quickly, alongside it I felt numb, I stopped feeling, and I felt hot on my skin yet cold inside? You know the feeling after pins and needls where your whole body is static? Yeah I experienced that except my whole body and I felt myself sink into my bed and immaterialize and warp?

My learning is that there is no such thing as a "sign", the only reason I didn't shift was because I jolted up. But that night was like any other night, it was just my mindset that changed.
