Here was a great post from the FB group Historic Hand Embroidery:  It is from Pearsall’s Embroidery magazine from 1908.  This is  Elizabethan-inspired embroidery.  This is called the Layton jacket.  A great, very clear sketch if you’d ever like to try and embroider it.  On the right is the original.
