I won’t lie. I have been struggling emotionally and mentally lately, and the enlistment announcement was definitely the catalyst.

These days, I’m working on accepting that I will be without Jimin for 18 months (all of BTS but Jimin especially) but there are days where I am close to tears. And days that I actually shed them.

There is a song I’ve been listening to a lot that I’ve resonated with. It’s “right where you left me” by Taylor Swift a bonus track from one of my favorite albums of hers, Evermore. Yes, I really do like a lot of her music. No, I don’t care about her personal life or how her songs relate to her personal life. But, this song just encompasses how I feel right now. Here are some of the lyrics if you are unfamiliar. It’s a sad song at its core about a relationship that ended and the person singing couldn’t move on. Now, I realize that a little dramatic and not the same circumstances, but I think the sentiment holds that I will wait for them to come back. Frozen in time (metaphorically) until they do.

I will say though, that after the media leaks, I am feeling a bit more optimistic about the enlistment. I really hope that Jimin and JK will be serving the majority if not all of it together. That would bring me a lot of peace and comfort knowing that they still have each other as their greatest support system. Because ultimately, that is what they are for each other and it’s a damn shame that so many refuse to admit that because they know it too.

Can we please have a discussion about language? When will people understand that when you generalise a group of people’s actions as “all X”, you’re literally protecting them by grouping them with others and in doing so, enabling them?

I just do not understand why this fandom can talk about “Jimin solos” openly with such ease but when Korean JK akgaes are initiating a hate campaign on an extremely serious level, with them tagging gov bodies with harmful rumors, sending rumours to media outlets and even openly threatening his life, it’s “solos are—“ and “attacking Jimin and JK and trying to get them harmed during their MS”, like…I don’t even know what to say?

Are you all in a huge GC where you keep on being fed misinformation, do you have every single Jimin report account blocked, or are you just doing this wilfully? It’s not all solos, it’s JK akgaes. It’s not JK who is being attacked from a campaign, it’s Jimin. Just because you saw a PJM on your timeline saying some nasty things about him does not mean he’s the one who’s being targeted by an organised hate campaign. Is that hard to understand?

Nobody needs me to explain this for them. These are the same people who heard the words “PJMs started it” from a random person when it came to other matters regarding attacks on other members, ran with it and starting going on and on about Jimin solos this and Jimin solos that. Even if it was false, even if it was just one person who claimed that, even if the account in question was clearly a set up, they didn’t let up. Not saying that it doesn’t happen this way but there are times where PJMs were never even involved in the first place and were blamed for it regardless.

But an incidence where it’s not a petty fanwar but an actual, proper hate campaign and suddenly nobody wants to get specific. Nobody wants to complain about JK solos by name. Nobody wants to once again acknowledge that Jimin is targeted in a way that no other member has been in this fandom: in a way that’s very organised and very consistent throughout the years.

I refuse to believe all these people just secretly hate Jimin, so I’ll just say, amongst the ones that actually don’t care for him, the rest of y’all are very dumb and you’ve got something to learn about sheep mentalities and why you don’t post the same things that your mutuals post but actually form your own opinions and thoughts and then post accordingly.

My question is IF bts comesback in 2025 who will HYBE invest their payola into ? For group's promo or their 'one and only soloist' ? I mean if company is considering his solo members as his competition.. they will probably consider group as his competitor lol. From now on we will be seeing BTS vs JK competition and how records and awards go to JK because BTS,which still have genuine members in it, won't be having radio or payola or ads or 98392928892 versions.

How many times do the members have to say it for people like you to get it through their thick skulls? I really hate Chapter 2 solo era. I can’t say that enough. Now, unless they already have something prepared to release, I think an album or single comeback is more likely 2026 territory but you need to drop this BTS vs JK nonsense. I’m not a Hybe lover by any means. I am staunchly anti capitalist, so any huge wealthy corporations sucks. But Jungkook wants to be apart of BTS. You think it’s going to be JK vs BTS when JK barely made a solo album in time before his MS? I’m sure the members will release solo music still. I’m sure they will also change the industry more so than they already have. Long gone will be the days of constant overwork to push out a comeback every six months. I don’t think BTS will do that. It burnt them out, killed their creativity, and didn’t allow them to explore life for themselves. But that doesn’t mean that everything they do will be competing against each other. Jungkook is a genuine member of BTS. He loves his members. I think he was honestly hit the hardest by the groups break (as seen by how he lost he seemed earlier this year). I’m going to say this for the last time, I stan BTS, the whole group. I love each of them, especially Jimin since he is my bias. Solo stans and member antis are NOT welcome here. I will never agree with you.

Right? This is how I feel. I don’t know how this became a competition (though I’m willing to bet the subgroup started it) but it needs to end while our boys are serving. I’ve thought about the best way to deal with tkks, and I’ve never come up with an answer. I truly believe the only way their hatred and nonsense could be dealt with is through the larger “OT7” part of the fandom. Whenever I try to call them out, I’m just labeled as the “other side” being a jikooker. If large accounts or small OT7 accounts started to hold them accountable then maybe we could get somewhere in dismantling the group of conspiracy theorists akin to QAnon that is TKK, but until then, I fear that nothing will change. They will be as loud as ever throwing tantrums, dragging others (Jimin) into their false and ridiculous narratives. I’m so tired of it. I’ve thought about creating a separate OT7 focused twt account that would do the very thing that I’m preaching but I doubt I could make a difference. The “non shipping” heterosexual army sucks just as bad and they are also a huge problem for lumping all shippers into the same category and turning a blind eye to the vile atrocities that tkks scream about everyday.

Why did JK spend his last remaining days before enlistment with JM in Japan, instead of with her even though he is going to spend 18months with him in military?

SAME! I almost feel bad for thinking this while so many people seem to enjoy it but I’m done. It was fun the first quarter of the year but now the fandom is a mess. I love Jungkook but I can’t help but to have extremely mixed feelings about his solo and I hate to confess it but it is what it is. I’m just waiting for PJM2 or whatever Jimin has been cooking and then I plan to go MIA in 2024 to focus on other projects. I feel like Hybe has chosen a bad marketing tactic, it’s going all over the place and some things are just not fair it’s fracturing the fandom more and more by the day. I just want to be in 2025 tbh

Hi anon. I am also SO DONE. The infighting in this fandom during solo era is like nothing I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been apart of stan culture for a longgg time at this point. I have mixed feelings about all the solo eras in general. I wish I could even say that I’m only feeling excitement about PJM2 because if you saw my post about how I don’t want a Jimin and Ariana collab then you would know why. Even PJM2 has me nervous. I don’t want Hybe to think that they can suddenly utilize Jimin’s starpower and get involved in his music and have him do a bunch of western collabs. I trust Jimin of course and love him to pieces, but with the company being so large now, I don’t trust everyone in their circle. I will be looking forward to the Jikook travel show, any OT7 content that we might get (I still hold out hope for extra RUN BTS eps or something) and the Disney doc that I will not be watching through Disney because of the boycott but from some other means. I am excited about the PTD US footage and will watch that ASAP. And I hope we get a Seoul one in the pipeline too. I’ll still be around next year missing the tannies but ready for anything that comes up, but I’m definitely sick of the toxicity that is solo era. I was naive and thought this would be really fun to see them each shine on their own.
