Taryn: I’m concerned. Although, maybe we should save that conversation for tomorrow morning. 

Atlas: You’re spending the night? 

Taryn: I can leave-

Taryn: Oke. Should we ask everyone to go home? 

Atlas: Right. Hold up. Ahem. [ shouts ] Everyone, would you please get the fuck out?! Thank yew!

Atlas: The finest, really. You don’t have to sit on the floor, you know?

Taryn: Oh I’m good down here. Besides, there’s plenty to do down here. Love the book selection.

Atlas: I swear I’m getting a bookcase soon. 

Taryn: Everytime I see a book on the floor, ten years are taken from my life.

Atlas: So I’m assuming I’m speaking to a ghost now?

Taryn: Perhaps.

OK, so here they are… My ‘help ticket’ that I submitted to the S4Studio forums about the shadow issue that these have while outdoors at a certain time of day has now moved over to the second page of the forum, where help requests go to die, so I am not going to wait for any 'magic solution’ as to why the issue happens. That said, just be aware that certain models have a strange shadowing issue only when outdoors and only at a certain time of day (evening/sunset)(as shown above).

Why so many? Because, that’s why… Actually, I recently came across a treasure trove of 3D meshes that are for 3D printing, so all of the meshes were originally in .stl format and had from ~350,000 to ~1,500,000 polys each, and none had any textures. Since I feel confident enough that my Decimation skills in Blender have improved sufficiently, I decided to 'Go For It’ and do a mass-conversion of selected models for Sims 4, as I for one can never have enough statuary on my lots (among many other things…). After reducing the size of the meshes, I ended up with models that have from ~7,500 to ~20,000 polys each, which I believe is not too bad to have to play with.

There were some 15 meshes that I did in the conversion glut, 12 of which are in this collection. The remaining six were 'older’ ones that I did, with two of them being the original ones that I did a couple of years ago. I used the BG Bob the Butler statue as a clone for them, so all are of course BGC. Each has a minimum of 7 swatches - Grey/stone, Deep Gold, Bright Gold, Bronze Green, Black, White, and Less Black. Each is also slot-capable, with them being slotted at either a Medium or Large slot (as I thought appropriate for the mesh) - I have some 'new’ pedestals ready to release to play with. Most can be found by searching 'Fancy’, and definitely by searching 'minimo’, and all have my custom thumbnail.

I really wish there was an option to lock the camera in-game, but whatever… Cheers & Om Mane Padme Hung!
