when i say i wish people started using the reblog button more i don't mean it in a 'i want more notes' kind of way i mean it in a 'i want to read about your thoughts on this particular thing' and 'i want to have conversations in the tags' and 'i want this to feel like a community again and not like any of those boring social media platforms where artists are content creators and interactions never goes beyond a like'

1, 7, and 17 for the ask game?

1: I think around September of last year, which is about 9 months I think? That’s how long I’ve been into rise

2: I chose tumblr for a lot of reasons:

Reddit is desolate and strange-Deviantart was my canon event- instagram- 😐 idk man

and I wouldn’t touch twitter with a 12 ft pole

And the funniest memes and posts I’ve ever seen are tumblr heritage posts

Also there’s a HUGE rise random here. They literally have cherished and loved rise more than Nickelodeon ever will. I literally made awesome friends here that make me smile when they comment on my random drawings. It’s fun to interact; everyone here is feral like me 👍 I discovered tumblr from Pinterest actually, and it’s much better here since it’s hard to find t-cest/all that trash.

I have a LOT of fun experiences from this place- a great example of why I love this website is the boopening of April 2024. But I think my favorite was when @hanahhosannah526 gifted me a crab badge. I literally cried

I walked into Goodwill.

So I was with my mom shopping at goodwill I’m basically there for emotional support And we mostly look at books and CDs And I’m walking past a shelf AND IM LIKE YOOOO!!!!!!! I run up to the sai sitting hooked on the shelf and eagerly picked them out And to my even bigger surprise These guys are HEFTY AND REAL! And I start freaking out and stuttering trying to show my mother I literally got so hyped that I started drooling no joke and my mom looks at me with huge metal things in my hands and is like and I start yapping And I put them in the cart after infodumping about these things And there’s an older couple standing close to me Giving me a dirty look I guess they were also looking at them But they didn’t make any moves sooo Like I got them first But they FOLLOWED US kind of i was being paranoid But if looks could kill I’d be dead Also I hate eye contact and these folks out here like a Wild West film
