Here because Twitter is going down. Kind of a politico 🤷‍♂️ Measure 110’s strongest soldier, don’t care how many people think I’m crazy, I will not back down from my stance that drug possession should not land you in jail. Mostly photography, politics, geography, etc.

Loving The New Counterpoint That Not Only Is Posting Activism, Not Posting Is Complicity. Why Doesn't
Loving the new counterpoint that not only is posting activism, not posting is complicity. Why doesn't everyone with any fame or internet presence immediately release a lengthy but perfectly-worded statement telling us where they stand on every issue? Is it because they're evil??? It must be because they're evil
And then the usual answer is "they don't post online very much". Which is all very suspicious, don't they know everything of importance is done by posts on social media now

10 years ago, the people who liked Russia were viewed as “supporting socialism” within the US, but now, supporting Russia is “opposing socialism”. Did we “end history”?
A good number of economic problems in the United States, particularly ones like rising rents, inadequate wage growth, insufficient welfare state, etc., not necessarily “housing costs any money at all” (the strawman libertarians use), are just political problems at the end of the day. When you want to switch from vouchers to cash transfers, landlords don’t like it because now the tenants have more power themselves. When you want to increase spending, there are deficit hawks and people whose business model relies on cheap labor as a result of high unemployment. When you want to increase housing supply, there are incumbent homeowners and landlords with a lot of money in housing. You want to increase wages, there are employers who don’t like that it cuts into their margins.

all those fucking "leftist" dudes lusting over that photo of that girl in georgia putting on lipgloss in the reflection of a riot shield then going dead silent when they learn it's georgia the country and she's protesting against russian aggression lmao
From a friend: The war in Iraq did such deep seated emotional damage to an entire generation that now views any kind of internationalism or involvement in foreign affairs as somehow inherently a bad thing. Isolationism is as nearsighted now as it was in the 30s/40s.
