"At Least Just Sneaking Out The Window Wasn't The Worst You Could've Done. You Know, Mike Smashed His
"At least just sneaking out the window wasn't the worst you could've done. You know, Mike smashed his once when we were teens." Jeremy decides to tell him if only because the issue is over and done with, and Gregory isn't hurt ( plus, he could afford to mess with Michael a bit ). "Which- I've gotta say, a lot less subtle than your approach." / @jeremangled lol
β β An air of defensiveness ; Gregory knows what to expect from Michael when he acts out, when he runs off without a word and pretends he should just be allowed to do whatever he wants. But Jeremy is new. And Gregory likes Jeremy, but he doesn't know Jeremy. Isn't sure what to expect from him in a situation like this. ( he can't help but expect the worst, as unfounded as it may be ).
And yet, when the man speaks, there's no scolding. He doesn't even sound disappointed.
Almost immediately, Gregory's guarded demeanor drops and is replaced by a curious ( and mischievous ) sparkle in his eyes. He perks up, practically leaning forward at the mention of his guardian's teenage actions.
"He smashed his window? Why?"
Small smile tugging at the corner of his lips, half in genuine amusement ( he wants to hear more! ), half - sheepish ; maybe pushing his own luck, but maybe he can use this story to his own advantage.
"So .... that means I'm not in trouble, right? 'Cause it could've been worse?"

Do you wanna go to Fazer-blaster or Monty Golf?
I don't usually draw in a cartoony style but I'm Immensely enjoying myself~ Also for the record Monty Golf is the best section of the game, like fuck guys im so jealous i need to go there i don't even know golf i just wanna soak up the atmosphere and hang out with my friends ykwim someone get on that
How tall is Freddy compared to Gregory?
hmmm I am considering changing the sizes, they are all very big and I like them but it is difficult to draw their size even so I can say that Gregory is the size of Freddy's head

β β Gregory wants to keep arguing with Micheal. More than he wants to simply argue, he wants to throw a fit ; yell, stomp his feet and insist that Michael get Cassie out of there before he takes another step further into the depths of the pizzaplex. The shout sits in his chest, barely contained by the way his teeth sink into his lower lip. He can't risk that thing finding him.
More than anything, Gregory is scared. He's scared for his friend, who just wanted to keep him safe, and he's scared for himself β he doesn't want to stay there.
( he's scared michael won't be able to keep him safe, this time. this mistake is too big. that michael will get hurt trying to get to him ).
"It is because of me."
Insisted through a hissed breath, still curled in on himself, walkie talkie resting against his forehead. He is so tired. And feels so, so guilty.
" ββ what do you mean getting out is gonna be harder? Why can't you just turn around?"
WITH EACH SECOND THAT PASSES, the more Michael is wasting time, the longer he is leaving Gregory alone and in dangerβ he isn't sure what's down there with him ( of course, there's what Gregory told him about last time, the mangled remains of what was once the suit his father inhabited... imbued with something elseβ but, for all he had heard and looked into the mysteries of it, the distinct differences between the voices crackling through the walkie-talkie don't add up ).
Gregory is down there... trapped with something who wants them to think it's him. But no matter what it is, he could lose his life if Michael isn't quick.
"I am listening to youβ you think I don't want her out of here, too? Butβ whatever it called her for, clearly it's got a plan, turning around would give it time to make sure I can't get back to you once Cassie's safe."
Michael glances towards Cassie, who still looks like she wants to grab the walkie and start arguing herself. "It's not because of you, alright? You didn't call her here, we know that. It's... the thing you're trapped with. And..." With a pause, Michael glances behind themβ despite the argument he's making, guilt for dragging Cassie through this still grips him. "βWith everything that's happened, getting out is going to be more difficult than getting in."

I know you wanna protect me. You have. And when weβre done, weβll go wherever you want. Tommyβs, sheep ranchβ¦ the moon. Β

β β It isn't that Gregory is surprised to receive such a straightforward and honest response from the rabbit in this situation β but it's a comfort none the less, a reminder that despite the ever present tension ( gregory is more than certain neither of them are happy about the arrangement ), they are not enemies for the time being.
He nods in acknowledgement, a small breath of relief slipping past his lips as the knowledge that Cassie isn't in the presence of dangerous animatronics. At least, not yet.
"Right. Is there β can we get to the front of daycare, without going through it? Y'know, cut her off?"
