August 13, 2024: Tech

brat summer on Pabu

Crosshair: saw someone surfing once and thought it looked cool so now he only wears wetsuits. Doesn’t surf. Likes to make fun of people who wipe out, but has never made fun of omega who is learning.

Tech: tiny shorts with his usual belt pouches. Didn’t like the feeling of long clingy wet swim shorts with pockets built in. Likes to collect shells and analyze the sand components. Lost track of time and got sunburned. Crosshair considered this validation for wearing a wetsuit and teased “fragile” tech about his sunburn.

Hunter: Swims daily. Speedo optional, knife required. Will catch the fish but makes echo cook them. Tells people he doesn’t shake out his wet hair to spray them with water on purpose, but this is a lie. He does it on purpose.

Echo: smiled for the picture but internally screaming about getting his water socks wet and concerned that batcher will get sand on his lounge chair under the umbrella. At the beach for omega.

Wrecker: that’s actually his surfboard if anyone cares. When not riding the biggest waves he can find, he is using his explosives skills for weaving intricate shell/bead necklaces with pieces stolen from tech’s collection. Tech knows this and has a second secret collection that wrecker cannot access.

Bless whatever animator decided that Tech’s thighs should be so heavily featured. They weren’t going to give us any bare skin below the neck, but they were going to lovingly draw those thighs. 😍🤤

I edited together all Tech's bits from the Training Combat from S1He, "Aftermath." I zoomed in when appropriate, and slo-mo a few of the small clips. There is no sound on the slo-mo clips. Oh, and I lightened, brightened, and sharpened everything.

At 0:20 watch Tech get knocked off the droid's shoulders. He lands flat on his back and his poor head literally BOUNCES off the floor a few times. Even with a helmet, this would suck bad enough for a non-Autistic person, so imagine what our Tech was feeling.

I always though he'd just had the wind knocked out of him and was being a Drama Clone. But no, he really whacked the crap out of that big old melon of his.
