Why does Hunter have to be thought of as Omega’s dad? Why can’t he just be her brother?

Just because people in universe only seem to be able to grasp the Batch’s relationship with Omega through the lens of half a nuclear family, WE know better. I wouldn’t want Hunter to be my dad. My big brother? Sure. But if he’s a dad, he’s doing the minimum and getting all the credit.

Oooooo, he’s such a dad! Yeah, if you mean he’s emotionally distant. And if you mean he leaves the majority of child rearing to others.

Honestly, I didn’t have a problem with Hunter until I encountered the fandom. Because he’s no more Omega’s dad than the rest of them, and I’d argue that the other three probably spent more time with Omega than Hunter ever did. So, I guess Hunter is a full-blown pre-2000s model father.
