This is the shot that’s taken me over a month to make. Half a month to render the background, and another half to animate the 2D Jesse character and integrate her into the scene.

This is just one scene in a bunch of scenes I’m editing together to tell the story of MCSM Jesse encountering The Warden in an Ancient City in the Deep Dark.

I could probably spend the rest of my life trying to perfect this shot, but I’ve got a dozen or so other shots to do still and I’m just one person. Spending a month on a single shot has slowed down my progress a lot, I need to try and ramp up production if I’m ever going to get this done.

No sound, haven’t edited it in with the other scenes yet. Maybe I’ll do a breakdown later to show why this shot was so complicated and frustrating to do…
