1. One of our hosts is a fictive, yes. Other is brainmade.

2. So much in-system dating. Our funniest couple has to be 🍹 and 🧪.

3. Nope. Everyone pretty much knows a bunch about fictive’s sources. If not, they’ll know eventually when someone rambles about it. Closest might be our fictives from My Happy Marriage.

4. Someone has Google Translate, like… the meme one.

5. No. We do our best to handle them immediately with help from mediators.

6. Some do. Some don’t. Depends on how comfortable they are being compared to their source.

7. Uh… no real funny split stories here, really.

8. We eat fanfiction like it’s the last thing we’ll ever eat. We literally have group readings sometimes and it is hilarious. And fanfiction of our sources? Yes please. So funny sometimes.

9. Fanart is the best thing in the world. No one can change our minds.

10. 🔦 and 🍞 both hate their source’s fandom because it’s toxic as hell. 🔵 hates his source and his fandom because holy shit they just… obliterated his character/source

11. 🍓’s original work, technically. We have a lot of octives with pseudomemories based off of the events in that story. If we’re not counting that, then TMNT. Multiple iterations of the turtles in here.

12. Um… I guess Community. We have an Abed introject and… that’s all from them. Everything else at least has 2.

13. If they had a partner in source, they will 100% miss their partner the most. Most people in this system miss our dead relatives most though.

Someone anonymously messaged me to tell me that writing about detrans folks makes me a traitor to trans people, because all detrans people want to push conversion therapy on us and forcibly detransition us.

That’s precisely the kind of narrative that ends up pushing detransitioners into the arms of TERFs and the religious far-right.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with detransitioning. Sometimes people realize that transitioning no longer suits them, or never really did. And that’s fine.

When we systematically push them away regardless of their politics, we make people feel like the only places they can get support are among transphobes. That’s not a good thing. Building de/trans solidarity is an critical tool for disarming anti-trans movements.

🍄: We got our name from an inside joke amongst our family where we had a blue and pink bracelet and were trying to find a name for it. Our Mom said Blue Strawberry, and it’s a name that’s stuck with our system since!

👾: “We get revenge in the best possible way!” “Living a long, healthy, and happy life?” “Murder.”

🎉: Halloween. Hands down. Halloween.

🌙: We used to, but not anymore (that anyone is aware of) after doing some healing.

☕️: Uh… switching is weird for us. Depending on whether or not someone is purposefully trying to switch, it can be slow or fast. Purposeful switches are fast. Subconscious switches are usually slower where you more… fade into front than anything. Sometimes you’ll accidentally rapid switch into a situation because we got triggered. Either way, it’s either jarring or there’s a bunch of dissociation prior to the switch involved.

💫: Video games, writing, and doodling

💾: Many (we lost track. Simply plural says 300, but we haven’t updated it with our new headcount and headmates yet so…)

👻: Yes. Introjects have their source voice or a voice that they “claimed.” And some speak differently, such as different accents or speech patterns. Some people stutter, others don’t.

🎨: Yes. So many do. Both our hosts draw and many people in the system doodle when they’re stressed

🥀: Used to be a lot easier. Now we need to be going through a big trauma or hyperfixating too hard. We haven’t had any new alters in a long time now. Only a few here or there.

🦖: Very fictive heavy. Some factives, and most of the fictives are actually octives/brainmade, but mostly fictives

🎵: It’s All the Same is a song that reminds us of 🍓 and 📖. Candy reminds us of 💟. American Horror show is such a 🔦 song.

❓: Long term memories? Shot. We’re regaining some of it, but not a lot. Recent memory? 50/50. Some alters have better memory than others.

🎮: Drawing, writing, watching videos, listening to music and exercising, or playing video games. Those are our most common hobbies. Sometimes baking if we have the stuff or energy for it.

🪐: Headspace is very vast with multiple different fantasy elements. Floating islands, planets in the sky (no one can visit them tho), and a town, village, and city. We also have gardens, a park, and the woods surrounding the main area of headspace that holds the damned (/j on the woods bit)

🍐: Many. Fae, aliens, robots, mutants, monsters, demons, angels, and hybrids galore. It would be easier to list all our human alters.

🪫: Watch YouTube and attempt to turn our brain off

🌧️: Crying. Lots of crying and dissociation. We’ve been getting better with breathing techniques, and we’re practicing meditation to help ground ourselves. We’ve learned a lot about dealing with stress in order to better help children cope with it. We’re still practicing these things though

🔦: An ex-abuser put it to light when 🍓 said that they had barely any memories of childhood, could hear/see people but knew they weren’t real, dissociated often, etc. Ex-abuser then promptly made other alters very uncomfortable with fronting near them because they were a massive jerk to all our other alters :)

🌟: We all gotta pull our weight when we’re in front. That’s all I’m gonna say.
