Giorno's not known for being a particularly self-preserving person;

So, for the first time since the battle with Notorious B.I.G, Giorno's out of commission

Giorno isn't really new to getting sick– he got ill as a child often, usually having to go without treatment due to his mother's negligence

He's just not used to getting this sick. Whatever illness this is, it has Giorno completely bedridden and unable to "walk it off" (his normal course for treatment)

It's because of that he, at the very least, accepts your care. Not that he thinks he really needs it of course, but he's grateful nonetheless:

Alas, getting targeted is just what happened to Abbachio while out on his last mission.

The goal of which, hunting a few people from a rival gang with Narancia and Bruno, became his undoing

The enemies watched quietly and waited for them to split up. When the three of them did, Abbachio just so happened to be the one they went after

And he truly believes he only made it out of the fight alive because Narancia's stand ability alerted the boy something's wrong.

Unfortunately, his good luck had not reached so far that he should escape uninjured. On the contrary, it has led him into his bed with you close by

Bring up how useful he is to the team, how irreplaceable he is as an investigator, or how strong he is against non-stand users

After many reassurances from you, Abbachio will gradually shift his aloof-nature into a subtly gracious one

Laying in bed all day gives him an opportunity to reflect on how kind you are to him, especially when you could've (perhaps even should've, he thinks) left him.

Once he's healed up entirely, Abbachio will find the time to pull you away from the others and thank you in proper detail

After all, it truly means the world to him that you stayed by his side while he was down.

Mista:

Mista doesn't have a perfect immune system.

Perhaps getting shot every other week doesn't work wonders for preventing infections

About two or three times a year, he'll get sick enough to the point where he'll have to take a short leave of absence from work

In other words, getting sick isn't something that should be this big of a deal, really...

And yet:

"Gahh... I don't know if I'm making it out alive this time!"

"Mista, please–" he flings his arms around your hips and pulls you into the bed with him, cutting you off before you can even start your sentence. As weak as he says he is, he doesn't seem to pull any breaks with his dramatics. "Mista, if you don't take this medicine you'll just get worse!"

No matter how horrible or weak Mista claims to feel, no sickness presented to him has been enough to shrink his big personality.

"Pf, you're too dramatic," Narancia replied. It seemed he was trying to sound condescending by the way he leaned back into his seat, but his stuffed noise hindered his speech into a nasal.

"When are you just gonna admit that you're sick?" Mista retorted while wiping off the area Narancia's snot might've touched him.

"I'll admit it when I am sick."

Despite how obvious his illness is to everyone, Narancia will act oblivious to all of his symptoms. He'll ignore even the good advice from you

He doesn't admit that something's wrong until he wakes up one morning too weak and sore to make it out of bed

Without any idea as to what he should do, he calls you for help

And while explaining the situation, he suddenly breaks into tears

The rest of the time, you're sitting in the chair you took from his dining room and placed in his bedroom, watching his favorite episodes of Fist of the North Star with him.

You notice he's drifting in and out of sleep often, even during conversations

You also notice the way his eyes scan the room every single time he comes back to consciousness, only stopping when they land on you, and how he smiles as though he's won some sort of prize.

Narancia's just really happy he gets to have someone who truly cares for him as much as you do, after all. He can't help but smile about it

With you being Fugo's S/O and knowing of his adversion to hospitals, you offered to be his "nurse" for the duration of his treatment!

Trish gets sick just about immediately after her week-long adventure into the Italian mafia comes to an end.

And with the whiplash of emotions that week brought Trish, who can blame her?

Not to mention all the physical tolls it took on her... sure, she got healed by Giorno whenever she was injured, but having your hand cut off and a hole punched through your stomach is painful nonetheless

So Trish came down with the worst fever she's ever had not even a full day after defeating her father.

She specifically asked for you to help her through it when she notices her illness as you became her closest friend during the week she's known Bruno's gang

And she doesn't really have anyone else to go to.

You'll probably have to let Trish borrow one of your spare rooms in your house as well since she doesn't have a place to live in anymore either...

While Trish generally tries to maintain an unbothered air about herself, the mix of having you take care of her and suddenly living in your house makes her worry that she's over-imposing

Not that she really has much else of a choice...

"Thank you for letting me stay... and for helping me get back on my feet," Trish speaks up suddenly from her place on your couch, "I seriously don't know what I would've done if it wasn't for you."

Trish isn't afraid to ask for things while she's sick, but she'll also add that it's no bother if you can't get her an extra blanket or certain snack

Ans she's the kind of person who hates taking medicine, so you'll have to check by after giving her some to see if she actually took it.

But in general, she uses her sickness as a much-needed chance to rest and recuperate, so she doesn't require too much attention

When she starts to feel better, at least to the point where her migraines die down, she'll ask that you watch some TV show with her
