i’m drunk enough to say it. homestuck was actually good you fucks. it was just told in an unconventional medium combined with a primarily female and queer fandom in 2014 that exploded in popularity so it is doomed to go down in history as a joke. a blemish on the history of webcomics. but no. it shaped the medium in more ways than many are able to admit. it is, without irony or exaggeration, a genuinely phenomenal work of art and it will never be recognized as such because works popularized by women and los jibbities are without exception destined to go down in history as silly, frivolous stories for dumb people
