PJO Headcanon

Okay, was looking at one PJO post and just suddenly thought of this idea: imagine if Percy had a mortal bestfriend other than Rachel

Like just imagine there is this one boy who is the same age as Percy and lives across from him (so at first they’re neighbors). Because he’s lonely, he always sticks to Percy and such. Like, at first their relationship will be like Percy and Tyson’s; Percy only lets that dude follow him bcs of pity, but then character development™ happens and Percy will actually think of him as a close bestfriend he would literally die for.

Like this person wouldn’t be like Rachel. In other words, he would literally not know about Percy’s other sides, a.k.a. Percy being a demigod. He will always wonder what kind of camp Percy is going every summer, and after like 1 or 2 years of asking he would just accept that Percy doesn’t wanna talk abt it and respects his privacy, so he will just stop asking again (cause character development y’all😌). This person would also not be like Grover either, like he wouldn’t turn out to be a secret demigod or satyr or a mythical creature. He’s literally just... a normal guy...

And this part that I am going to explain doesn’t have to be there (but if this character does actually exist in the riordanverse, then most fans would probably want to see this part), but by the end of PJO or maybe even HOO, he would then find out what Percy’s secret “double life” is. Obv, he’d be shocked and a bit mad at first bcs Percy kept a huge secret from him, but then he’ll just be someone who supports Percy and takes care of him just like Sally and Paul do.

I really really want to ask Rick Riordan to make this canon, but by this point it’s already wayy too late, so the only thing I want to ask for is let’s go and make this headcanon fannon! ✨✨
