Actually you know what. Since I brought it up somewhat recently, here's some average + common polyfrag experiences we've experienced and heard about from other polyfrag systems:

Gaining new members really easily or often

Co-fronting most or all of the time

Some headmates taking a very long time to front again after finally switching out, but without going dormant in the time that they're "away"

Complicated system structure; sidesystems, subsystems, layers, structure in general...

Experiencing blurriness or other identity confusion more often compared to other systems

Very expansive innerworlds

Complexity of their system + dissociation meaning that – if they're disordered – their disorder appears more as a crossover or mix of several dissociative disorders than only one (really wish there was more discussion about this one)

It's fine to not relate to typical system narratives as a polyfrag system (or large + complicated system in general); our systems tend to work differently than what's considered an "average" or "typical" system. Really, it's perfectly fine to just be yourself/ves. You don't need to stress about it.

Girls be like "I want a loser bf waah waaah" but then when they get a bf who panics when they don't reply immediately, who spams them with I love yous, who wakes them at three am asking for kisses, who skips showering to talk to them, who has no one but them because he's so awful with making friends, who makes them the center of his world, they're like "He was kinda clingy :/" make it make sense (I love my loser bf)

Same goes for girlfriends.. u want a crazy gf but as soon as she cries because you called her pretty, freaks out because you spoke to someone that isn't her, would rather die than be without you, cuts for you and begs you to kill her, you end up freaking out and she becomes the "crazy ex" make it make seeeense

We are not a "good system". We are mentally ill, dissociative, traumatized, fragmented, angry and scared. We don't bow to singlets, we don't play their games and take their commands on what we should be. We're a bad system. We have problematic headmates, fictives, littles. We have sex in our system, we have abuse in our system. We're not "good" and docile. We will yell and scream and fight if you disrespect us, we won't dip our head down and let you tell us that we don't deserve to exist. We accept other systems, we don't gatekeep and harass endogenic systems or willogenic systems or "fake" systems. We accept ALL plurals. We will not let you sway us on this fact. We're not "good" to people who want to attack our siblings and cousins. Our persecutors and protectors will not make exceptions for YOU. Our littles are not YOUR kids. Our fictives are not YOUR blorbos. They are not going to be "good" for you. We're a "bad" system. We're not your study project, your fascination, your pets, your way to talk to your blorbos, your toys. We're alive and we deserve respect.
