yes yes yes!! please send all the lgbtq+ reader requests you can, they’re all welcome! (actually they’re encouraged bc im gay and trans and just wanna be loved by slashers too fhdgdfh). pinhead is very interesting to write for,,, i can see him getting easily confused by modern technology lmao

pinhead x (genderfluid) reader:

pinhead has always found the human convention of gender tedious and constricted. what’s the point in keeping things so black and white? it frustrates him immensely. 

once you explain your identity to him though, he realizes there may be some hope for humanity after all. at least in this aspect.

he’s very interested in this part of you. he asks a lot of questions and finds he relates to many of the things you say. 

if you get tired of explaining a lot, you’ll pull up some stuff on your phone so he can read and learn for himself.

pinhead isn’t fluent in technology, much less knows his way around a smartphone, so when he accidentally ends up on a pinterest page for DIY macaroni bracelets you aren’t surprised. (you ignore the irony of pinhead being on pinterest.)

while he does find the construct of gender to be limiting at times, he will admit there are certain parts of it that allow for an interesting bedroom dynamic. he himself has no particular preference as long as the subject is stimulating, but he enjoys being with you in multiple contexts. 

he’ll use whatever pronouns you feel comfortable with and regularly cycles between them. if you feel like only using a specific set for a while, he’ll do so.

pinhead does whatever he can to dispel dysphoria when it flares up. he knows he can’t make it go away completely, but he tries his best and gives you space when you need it. 

he insists that gender is irrelevant in his affections towards you. no matter what you are, he likes you because of you. he still respects how much it means to you, though.
