Shout out to that one ghost on buzzfeed unsolved supernatural named “Apple tater” who did nothing the whole time but talk about his food allergy and spaghetti but was still infinitely more real than all those other ghosts.

If I had a nickel for every time a man in his early sixties dedicated his life to researching the strange and unusual and documented all his findings in a leather-bound journal which he later decided to hide away before promptly disappearing without a trace, only to make a grand return many years later after some brown haired 12 year old who also happens to be his nephew finds the journal again by pure accident and the two of them (including various other family members) fight off a dangerous and terrifying monster who wants to steal the journal for the valuable information it holds, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
