Ok So It's Currently 3 Am Right Now But I Just Woke Up And Thought Of This So I Have To Write It Down.

Ok so it's currently 3 am right now but I just woke up and thought of this so I have to write it down. Humans have 3 colour receptors in our eyes which allow us to see different colours, now that's all good and well, except that mantis shrimp have 16. 16 freaking colour receptors. I can't even begin to fathom how many more colours they can see compared to people. But someone theorised that maybe a lot of the grey and black we see are actually just colours we can't perceive. Anyway my point is what if someone goes around wearing a lot of black and grey, and people just label them as a boring person, but then one day a Mantis Shrimp somehow sees them and thinks,

"Oh! What a wonderful variety of colours that human is wearing. They must have a wonderful personality! :)"

And then they go home and tell all of their little shrimp buddies about it.

Idk it might just be me and my 3 am brain but that just makes me so happy :)

UPDATE: OH MY GODS WHY HAVEN’T I TRIED MAKING THIS EARLIER IT TASTES LIKE ANGELS LAUGHTER AND THE TEARS OF MY ENEMIES.
