Since for my birthday the other day I have been give some money to spend on books, and lately I have been really in the mood for horror books has anyone got any good recs in this genre? I tend to prefer shorter books, but if it's really worth it go for it even if it's longer.

Some days it really is me and my team of comfort items versus the world.
What I like as a Neurodivergent person
Anime/animated cartoons (they're so fuckin pretty)
Music- especially AJR or Passion Pit, they just scratch my brain in all the right ways.
Fidget toys/objects- I am a huge fan of slime and slinkies.
Colors! Especially pretty ones :)
I hyperfixiate on certain celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Halsey, Hayley Williams, Mereba etc.
Nostalgia is sorta trigger for me, sometimes it's good, sometimes bad (depends)
