What kind of birthday gifts do you get? Is there a specific one that you are particularly fond of (if so, what is it and who gave it to you?)

😂 I’m kind of a nerd, so I usually get things like posters and t-shirts of my favorite shows/anime. I really love Funko Pops too. My Aizawa and Present Mic Pops are my favorites.

As for my favorite birthday gift I’ve gotten, I’d say it’s the Sundrop and Moondrop plushies one of my friends gave to me. They are so cute 🥺

art process? YES PLEASE!

Awesome lol! My process is pretty simple really. For all my drawings/animations/paintings, I start with a rough sketch (on Procreate, I use the 6B Pencil with no stabilization). Usually the first sketch is really rough, so I’ll add another layer, and draw the sketch again, until it’s cleaner and easier to see. Sometimes I’ll end up drawing the sketch three times until it’s clean.

Then, once I have just one clean sketch layer, I’ll add a new layer for the Line Art, tracing over the sketch (on Procreate, I use the Syrup pen at 55% stabilization for line art).

Art Process? YES PLEASE!

Once the line art is done, I delete the sketch layer and create a new layer where I’ll add just the basic colors to the drawing. Above the Basic Color Layer, but under the Line Art Layer, I’ll put a layer for shading and detailing with the clipping mask on.

On the Shading Layer I’ll add shading, details, highlights, etc. Sometimes I’ll have multiple layers for shading and detail. (For coloring on Procreate, I use the Studio Pen at 30%).

Art Process? YES PLEASE!

Once I’m done with all of the shading, coloring, details, etc, I’ll merge all of the layers together into one, final layer with the completed drawing.

Art Process? YES PLEASE!

And I’m done! That’s really all it is. Even when I’m drawing more difficult poses, my sketching process usually helps me to figure out the proportions. Once you have a solid sketch, your line art will be much easier, resulting in clean, smooth line art!

Let me know if you still have any questions about the process. I’m not the best at explaining this stuff, but hopefully this all made sense 😂

If you had to be stranded on a deserted island with one of your Tumblr mutuals, who would u pick?

Probably @corndog-patrol , I just think we’d have fun drawing in the sand together or something 😂

Do you have a favorite memory from when you were a kid?

I have a few, yes. Building pretend cities with both my little brothers, playing with Barbies with my friend, and making mud pies in my backyard with my dog lol. Times were good.

One memory I have is making a Kook-Aid stand with my friends (Kool-Aid because we didn’t have any lemonade). We actually sold a few cups, but one of my friends kept all of the money for themselves. Everyone was pretty upset about that, lol, but now it’s something I laugh at :)
