Some more Nextgen AU refs and designs are up again! Including a gryll design I don't remember posting. The only retcon I can see with these designs is I'll make Meta's fully grown horns way smaller in any future illustrations if they appear.

I sketched out most of these months ago while I was playing through KRtDLDX for the first time. The Epilogue was giving me thoughts and the brainworms were feeding. Still, I didn’t really have any big piece ideas for these, so I figured I’d just slap them all into a comp, throw some lines and color on, and call it done. A little loose on context, I admit, but I think they came out okay in the end. I just love drawing this wretched man (and the clown that bothers him).

Finished pages for the first part of the No.3 vs Vivi fight! Really pleased with how the composition came out here, I’m proud of it. It was a real fun exercise in remembering how to thumbnail and do more traditional sequential stuff again.
Black Waltz Vivi Sculpt. A long time ago I drew a comic for a fanfic written by a person named Ivy wherein Vivi became a Black Waltz. It was a fun little project that is lost to me but I will never forget it. Even now the idea intrigues me so when I decided to sculpt a Vivi statue I had to add the wings for fun. He will probably always be my favorite character in Final Fantasy 9.
