A/N: holy shit, yes, i just wrote my first scenario. whew, im actually scared to publish it, but fuck it lmao. please, give me your feedback, it will help me a lot! </3
Rin sighed loudly for the nth time this day, his body shifting constantly on the bed as he lied down on his back, that beautiful sapphire eyes of his glued to the window. With a scowl on his face, he put his arm on his eyes to prevent himself from further dreaming about doing anything else but what he’s doing right now, or in fact, what he’s supposed to do.
Rin turned his head to the left, slowly placing his arm back on the white pillow near him, only to look at the female sitting down at the desk, scribbling something in her notebook. The navy-haired boy decided to get the attention of his girlfriend back, a grimace still being present on his features.
“Hey, ___.” Rin called your name softly, hoping it will make you look at his direction.
After hearing your name, you curiously looked at him, putting the pen on a cold surface of the wooden desk.
“Come here,” he said, “I’m hella bored and my bed is lonely without you.”
Now it was your turn to sigh.
“Rin, we have to do our homework,” you began, as he groaned and changed his position. The boy was now on his stomach, his face buried in a pillow and his tail was in the air. “You’ve been lying in your bed for past 30 minutes and– h-hey, I’m talking to you!” you complained, bringing your palm to your forehead.
After a solid minute of silence, you witnessed how his tail slowly fell down on a duvet he was lying on. It saddened you a bit, knowing he must’ve missed you. School work was very important for you, as well as grades, which resulted in seeing your boyfriend lesser than you used to. Sure, you two were seeing each other at both normal school and exorcist classes, but it surely isn’t the right place to cuddle or show affection in general.
You lifted yourself from the chair you were sitting on, slowly walking up to the demon boy. Sitting yourself on the edge of the bed, you let your hand wander to his soft hair.
As you ran your fingers through Rin’s disheveled strands, you could hardly hear pleasant noises coming from him.
“He’s so cute.” You thought, smiling at him. The urge to cuddle with him was rising and seemed more tempting. Suddenly, you spoke.
“Sit up,” you demanded, “I want some cuddles.”
The sound of violent rustling could be heard in the room where the couple was. The boy that face was previously buried in a pillow, is now making himself comfortable on the bed. He spreads his legs a bit, making free space in the process. Opening his hands wide, he looked on the female with a grin.
“You comin’, babe?”
“Mhm.”
You seated yourself between his legs and slightly turned your head to look at Rin, only to give his cheek a gentle kiss. He laughed shyly, placing his hands around your waist. You could feel his chin on your shoulder.
You sat there in silence for a couple of minutes. The warmth radiating from him, the love, affection. Every time he embraced you, you felt safe. You felt like nothing that can possibly harm either of you exists. You weren’t afraid of his flames, because he would never hurt you and you trusted him.
While you were in your own little world, Rin’s soft-spoken words brought you back to reality.
“I love you.”
He began to give your neck and shoulder small kisses, while you were almost startled. You’ve heard that before, yet this time it felt… different.
“I-I… love you too.”
Internally cursing at yourself that you stuttered, you haven’t noticed that one of Rin’s hands tenderly placed itself on your smooth cheek and turned your face towards his. With dreamy eyes, he then looked directly into yours. You went quiet. In fact, no words were needed.
Feeling your face getting closer to Rin’s, your cheeks gained a blossom tint.
Rin chuckled, closing the gap between you and pressing his lips on your rosy ones.
And it happened again.
He felt that again.
That butterflies in his stomach, just like back then when he kissed you for the first time.
Oh God, you have no idea what you’re doing to him.
When you pull away to fill your lungs with air, Rin puts his hand back on your waist and cheek on your shoulder once again. His eyes are focused on a sky outside the window. His hold on you tightens, a genuine smile on his face. Demon’s tail wags happily.
You’re definitely the one.
