Anika, you sly fox. I am so enjoying this now. Not going to lie at first I thought it was cute fluffy Steve series and the reader was a bit mad and extra sensitive 😂. But then things took an interesting turn. Now, I can't wait for upcoming chapters!

Also, I agree with that anon who wrote that we love your TWS!Steve fics, and there are so many writers who experiment with different AUs and Retired!Steve but you stick to that 2014 era one which I personally think, was the best.

Summary: Steve’s new (girl)friend is a little too obsessed with his good luck. He finds it sweet and utterly adorable. She’s like his personal lucky charm. And by god, does he feel lucky to have her.

It was three months into you two living together when he got the new suit. Three lovely months where he had you near, not only to his heart, but also to his body. Three months of coming home to you. It was everything he could wish for; coming home to the person he loved.

It wasn’t perfect; you often had to get up even before him to get to the café, he was being called away for a mission far too often to his liking, each of you had a little habit or two that could drive the other crazy, but all in all, Steve couldn’t be happier.

Which was how he should have known.
