You don't have to play the game to engage with the characters and story. There are a lot of translators who post videos on YouTube for those unwilling or unable to play fgo. Heck I've been a fan for years (thanks in part to you) despite only downloading it recently. Fanfiction, fan art, there are plenty of ways to enjoy a game without actually playing it.
Dropping out of FGO is killing me slowly because what else am I supposed to write long essay-ass posts about? What if some new guy drops that's exactly my vibe and I'll have no idea because I'm not reading the story anymore? What, am I gonna write about Persona? People who do that get mauled by the fandom like meat to a pack of wild dogs.

We got a new Pretender with a name reveal animation, a fruit Typhon ate in myth with some of his power it had sealed off mixed in becoming a weord Typhon-Anti-Typhon mix in the form of a girl who does the opposite of what people want. Depite all that, might just be an NPC for now, given limited expressions and lack of battle sprite so far. Also we got a full on design for the actual Typhon, a three headed mech dragon.
