Okay so because I'm a big pokemon nerd I'll go through the list of absolute clusterfucks that the many regions have gone through and came out on top with what I remember.

Hoenn: Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza literally having a planetary war and that's just in base forms in the og games.

Sinnoh: Dialga and Palkia messing up the fabric of time and space (thanks Cyrus but he got better dw) so bad that Giratina had to pop up, make the situation worse and drag them to HELL. There's also Arceus somewhere there and y'know, this mf is GOD™.

Unova: The Zekrom and Reshiram grudge match in addition to Kyurem freezing Unova in the second games.

Kalos: Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde going nuts on each other.

Alola: Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, The Ultra Beasts. You get the point.

Yeah it's kind of hard to be worried about the local tyranitar population when you already have cities built to survive the local gods going for each others' throats.
