Love Interest - Bob Morley Imagine

Love Interest - Bob Morley Imagine
Bob x Reader
Summary: You begin a new series and your character has a love interest, little did you know how much you’d take a liking to Bob himself.
Warnings: Beginnings of smut, kind of, if even
You fidgeted with the bottom of the shirt you had on. It was a long plain black top with an american flag printed on the sleeve. It was massive on you and it made you wonder just how tall he was as the large t-shirt was supposed to belong to your character’s boyfriend in the show.
Lizzy, your co-star, stood beside you in a simple pair of jeans and flannel shirt. She wasn’t filming until later. It was just you and Bob for the morning, who you hadn’t met yet as he was finishing up filming for the 100. You had been filming most of your scenes with Lizzy as you were her best friend on the show. ‘So happy it’s you doing this scene, I hate them’ She grumbled.
You smiled at her, her blonde hair was pulled up into a messy bun and she was chewing on her lip. You had worked with her before when you two were younger when she had started her career in acting and you had kept in contact since, you weren’t friends you just knew each other. The producers had been happy that you two had chemistry before the show so it would come across on screen. ‘It doesn’t really bother me, I’d prefer not to but I’m okay with them’ You shrugged.
She looked away from the bedroom set where the crew stood giving the set some adjustments and to you. ‘Oh yes’ She let out a loud laugh. ‘You should be used to this with that last movie you were in’ You closed your eyes groaning. ‘I am never playing a hooker again. It was crazy’ You groaned complaining as you crossed your arms over your chest. You were happy for the heat in here, you only work a short pair of shorts under the shirt, only the very bottoms of them peeking out underneath it.
Lizzy giggled beside you. She was the leading lady and you were her best friend. Her love story was something that was going to play out on screen whereas your character had a boyfriend for years and you two were stable enough, as stable as it could be in a drama like this. That you were kind of thankful for, although a little worried.
You felt Lizzy’s elbow dig into your ribs and your eyes shot open. ‘Huh?’ You looked at her but she wasn’t looking at you. You turned your head following her gaze. You felt your breath catch in your throat when you found who she was staring at. He was here. Your eyes fell on the man you had been waiting for and you would be spending the next few months side by side with.
Bob Morley.
He walked onto set with the Producer beside him. He was dressed in a tight black top. With every move he made you could see the firm muscles flexing underneath the material, the v- neck gave you a view of his smooth tanned skin. It was short sleeved and his large biceps were on show.
The light demin jeans he wore hung low on his hips and he readjusted them as he walked pulling them further up. Your eyes lingered on his hands. The were so big, his fingers long and his palm large. They were definitely manly hands, strong and structured. His legs were long and strong.
His black hair tumbled in loose curls over his forehead. You watched as his lips stretched into a smile lighting up his face as he laughed. The stubble on his face only drew your eyes to his jaw and lips. He was beautiful.
Sure, you had seen him on screen and in photos, or watched interviews but that definitely didn’t compare to seeing him in person. He was stunning. The way he walked even had confidence in his step. ‘Damn, you got lucky’ Lizzy breathed beside you. You nodded. ‘Lucky? That’s not the word’ You breathed.
You tensed as Dave, your producer waved at you. ‘Well, I’ll see you later’ Lizzy smiled before turning leaving you standing on your own. You rolled your eyes and began to walk over to the two men. The closer you got the more you realized how tall he was.
You stopped in front of them. Now that you were closer you could see how his brown eyes sparkled as he took you in. Okay, Beautiful did not begin to cover the man in front of you. He was something else entirely, something you couldn’t describe. ‘Bob’ Dave smiled. ‘Katie’ He gestured between the two of you. ‘Y/n, Bob’ You instantly held out you hand letting a smile settle on your face.
Bob reached out and gripped your hand in his. His skin was soft and warm, and his hand easily engulfed your small ones. ‘Hi, pleasure to meet you’ His voice was deep and you sighed. His accent was thick and to die for, you had always loved the Australian accent. ‘Hi, Bob’ You let your smile widen. ‘Pleasures all mine really’ You giggled. ‘I’ll leave you to it’ Dave nodded at the two of you before walking towards the bedroom set.
You watched him before turning back to Bob. You gulped your eyes meeting his again. He squeezed your hand before letting it go. You allowed yours to drop back to your side your fingers grazing your thigh. ‘It’s great to be working with you’ Bob drew your attention back to him. ‘I’ve seen your work, you’re an amazing actor’ You felt a blush rise to your cheeks.
You shuffled your bare feet as his smile widened. ‘I-um-thanks’ You stuttered. You almost kicked yourself. Way to go Y/n, the first time you meet him you turn into a stuttering blushing mess. ‘Eh me too’ You furrowed your eyebrows. ‘I mean, you-eh’ You groaned and you heard him laugh a little. ‘I get it’ Bob reached out putting his hand on your shoulder.
You looked up at him with a shy smile. ‘I’ve seen your stuff too’ You breathed out feeling a little relaxed as you looked at the kind smile on his lips. ‘It’s good’ You nodded and you watched as his smile grew. ‘I’ve actually watched the 100 since it aired’ You began to ramble. Great from not being able to talk to not being able to stop. ‘You and Eliza have amazing chemistry. I’ve been a total Bellamy fan from the beginning, he’s really something. And you play him really well’ You were thankful for running out of breath.
Bob let another laugh fall from his lips. ‘Thank you, I wasn’t even expecting you to even know who I was’ He dropped his hand from your shoulder. You chuckled. ‘Of course I know who you are, when Dave told me you were playing Nathan I read at least the first 10 pages on Google’ You giggled. Bob raised an eyebrow. ‘Really?’ You shook your head and he began to laugh. It was deep and throaty, and it gave you goosebumps.
You watched him laugh. ‘Bob, Y/n’ You both heard. Bob stopped laughing as you looked over your shoulder. Dave stood by the set waving at you both. ‘I guess that’s us’ You looked back at him and he nodded. ‘Let’s hope we do it justice’ He said as you both began walking towards the set. ‘Well the fact we met about five minutes ago and we’re supposed to know each other about 10 years isn’t gonna be easy’ You glanced sideways at him. ‘But we’ll nail it, it may take a few tries but we’ll be good’ You smiled at him as he turned his head smiling down at you too.
You sat cross legged on the bed a book in front of you. It was a novel but you weren’t reading it. There was a knock on the fake door opposite the bed. Looking up you seen Bob opening it a little and peaking his head through. ‘Can I come in?’ He had a worried subdued expression on his face. You allowed your eyes to narrow and eyebrows to furrow a deep scowl on your face. ‘No’ You spat looking back down at the book.
You heard him sigh and then the door closed. You looked up to see him standing inside the room leaning back against the door. His shoulders were slumped and he looked up through his long lashes at you. You reached out slamming the book shut before tossing it off the bed.
You stood angrily. ‘You couldn’t have waited until I calmed down huh?’ You snapped. He stepped away from the door. ‘I’ve known you long enough babe to know you won’t calm down’ He smiled and you scoffed looking around the room. ‘You punched him Nate, you said you were going to give all that up’ Bob walked over to you stopping when he was toe to toe with you. ‘You didn’t hear what he said about you, he sa-’ You head snapped up. ‘I heard what he said’ You growled. ‘It didn’t warrant a punch Nathan’ He sighed.
Bob looked away from you. ‘I told you Nate, next time you lost your cool like that we were over. I can’t deal with this anymore’ You turned away from him. He reached out before you could reach the bed and grabbed your arm. He spun you around pulling you back to him. You raised your other arm as you collided with his chest.
You both lost your footing and he stumbled causing you to follow him. Bob’s arm wrapped around your waist and your hand gripped his shirt. He found his balance first and righted you. You let a breath fall from your lips. Bob started chuckling and you began giggling as well. You dropped your head on his chest laughing a little. ‘I don’t think I need to pull as hard next time’ Bob squeezed you a little with another chuckle.
You reached out shoving him away from you. You were both back into the scene. ‘Oh you think I care, I don’t’ You screamed at him. He stared at you for a moment before reaching out grabbing your face. He yanked you to him. Your hands came up landing on his chest. ‘That’s an outright lie’ He growled before his lips collided with yours. You froze for a second. Then you began kissing him back.
His lips were soft, a sharp contrast to the harshness he was kissing you with. One of his hands left your face and traveled down your body. He wrapped it around your waist. You reached up standing on your toes to wrap your arms around his shoulders. One of your hands threaded through his curly locks. They were so soft and fluffy. He pulled his lips from yours. ‘I love you Mon’ He breathed. You let yourself smile. ‘I love you too’ You pressed your lips back to his.
You jumped wrapping your legs around his waist. His hand roamed your bare thigh causing you to shiver. He crawled up the bed and dropped down hovering above you. His lips met yours again. You reached down your fingers slipping under his shirt. They ran over his skin and you felt him shiver. Damn, It was nice to know you had some kind of effect on him.
You pushed his shirt up and he leaned back. He reached behind his back and grabbed his shirt pulling it over his head. He tossed it to the side. You sat up and you fingers splayed across his chest. He leaned down and pressed his lips to yours. It had only been a while but damn you were beginning to fall in love with those lips. They were perfect.
He reached forwards and grabbed the bottom of the black top you had on. He pulled it up. You lifted your arms and were left in your bra when he pulled it from your body. You seen his eyes roam your body and you fought off a blush, or even the instinct to shrink back a little. This was the first time you met him and you were already half naked.
Before you could though he pressed his lips to your jaw. You let out a sigh and tilted your head back. You eyes closed and a look of bliss found it’s way onto your face. You dropped back and he followed. His warm body covered yours. You sighed wrapping your arms around him. Your fingers ran over the soft tanned skin of his back. His hand landed on you thigh pulling it up to his hips.
He pressed his lips against yours again. You smiled slightly happy to have his lips back on yours. He shifted slightly rutting his hips against yours. You reached down and began to unbuckle his belt as his hands roamed the bare skin of your body, one on your thigh and the other on your side. You pushed at his jeans pushing them down his legs. He wiggled out of them and was left on his boxers.
You wrapped both your legs around his hips pulling him to you as you tangled one hand in his hair and the other on his back pulling his body to yours again. The warm skin of his abdomen pressed against your. You continued to kiss him. ‘Cut’ You heard Dave call.
Bob took a second to pull his lips from yours. You unwrapped your legs from around him and smiled up at him. He smiled down at you. ‘Great job, I don’t think we need to do another take’ You both sat up looking at Dave. ‘Thank’ You smiled at him. Your black top appeared in the corner of your eye. ‘Thanks’ You smiled at Bob who held out your top for you.
You both put back on the clothes as Dave showed you some of the footage. ‘Told you we’d nail it’ You smiled up at him as he pulled his jeans up further. Bob smiled down at you and nodded. ‘It looks good’ His Australian accent was back instead of the American on he used for his character.
Later that day after filming a more scenes you were walking from the wardrobe trailer. ‘Y/n’ You turned to where your name was being called. Bob was running towards you. /when he seen you had stopped he began to slow a little. He was in a different jeans, and a top, covered with a black shirt. He had a beanie covering his curls. You presumed that was his normal outfit, just like you had on. A plain jeans and top.
Bob stopped in front of you with a smile. ‘Hey’ You giggled as he panted slightly. ‘Hey, glad I caught you’ He stood straight. He fixed his shirt before becoming slightly nervous. ‘Eh, have you got anything planned for the evening?’ He asked. He shifted from on foot to the other. You shook your head. ‘No, just going to head home and relax, why?’ You tilted your head to the side.
Bob cleared his throat. He stuffed his hands into his jeans. ‘You want to grab a coffee? Get to know each other’ You felt your lips spread out into an over excited smile. You nodded eagerly. ‘Yeah, I’d love to’ You seen some of the tension leave his body. His face relaxed into a more easy smile. ‘Great, you want to go now?’ You nodded at him.
You both made your way from the trailer over to the cars. ‘You need a ride?’ He asked. You puller your bottom lip between your teeth. ‘Would you mind? I walked today’ Bob smiled leading you over to a sleek black car. ‘Of course not’ He reached out opening the door for you.
You blushed. ‘Thanks’ You climbed into the car. It was clean and nice inside, but it smelled like him, like the cologne he had been wearing all day. The door closed beside you and you watched him walk around the car. You let out a shaky breath.
You could not believe you were working with Bob Morley. You had only spent a day with him but you were pretty sure you two would get along. He was extremely nice and got along with everyone on the cast. He was sweet and considerate and was able to make you laugh more than you ever had before. And he was so easy to work with, you two had fallen into an easy rhythm throughout the day as you worked on more scenes together. It was going to be a fun few months, definitely.
What did you do to deserve this wonderful man as your love interest. Whatever it was it must have been pretty damn good.
I’m thinking about a part two?
Maybe making it a short series?

Good Enough - Cas Imagine
Cas x reader
Summary: You and Cas get in a fight.
You whirled around to the angel behind you. ‘Why? Why did I do it?’ You screamed. ‘Because I needed to’ Cas’ face was hard. His lips pinched into a straight line. His eyes narrowed. ‘You were stupid’ He growled. Sam and Dean stood behind him at the motel you were staying at. You seen Dean wince at Cas’ poor choice of words. Sam stepped forwards but Dean grabbed him shaking his head violently.
You stepped closer to him. ‘It was an excellently thought out plan, until YOU-’ You jabbed his chest. ‘-Decided you couldn’t put aside whatever it is that’s going on with you and jump in the way’ You screamed at him. ‘I just had to clean up your mess’ Cas took in a deep breath and glared at you. ‘You were reckless, you could have died’ You rolled your eyes. ‘Yeah, and you couldn’t have, If I got hurt I got hurt, I’ve gotten hurt before Castiel’ You snapped.
He took in a deep breath closing his eyes and you knew he was loosing patience with this argument. It had been going on for almost an hour, since you had left the old warehouse on the opposite side of town. Honestly, you were surprised that Sam and Dean ad put up with you two fighting in the back seat for this long. Especially Dean, you thought he would have snapped by now.
Castiel’s hand reached out and wrapped his hand around your arm. ‘You can not speak like that, your life matters, you can not just do what you want on a hunt’ Castiel scolded you as if he was a parent talking to a child. As f you had just stolen a cookie before dinner, like you weren’t a grown ass woman who had been hunting for all your life. ‘When you hunt that’s what happens, we die die young, we get over it’ You snapped.
You seen Dean tug on Sam’s arm. He pulled him away from the car and towards the motel room. ‘We put our lives in danger to save others, our lives don’t matter if theirs don’t’ Castiel’s hand tightened around your arm, it was almost becoming unbearably tight. You kept the hard look on your face. ‘Then stop, stop hunting’ Your jaw fell slack. Dean stopped by the door.
Both him and Sam looked back at the two of you. Dean’s hand was hovering over the handle of the door. ‘Give it up?’ You let out a laugh. you were on shock. Give up hunting? Hunting was your life. ‘You can do research, but no hunting’ He nodded. He got a satisfied look on his face like he had just figured out the answer to all the world’s problems.
You froze, he was serious, very serious. ‘I’m not giving up hunting Castiel’ You shook your head. His eyes snapped back down to you. ‘Of course you are, I forbid you from hunting. That is the end of this discussion’ He let go of your arm turning around. ‘Woah, woah’ Dean stepped closer to you two intercepting Castiel making him com to a halt.
Yor shock wore off leaving you with a pit of anger in your stomach. Your eyes narrowed at the Angel’s back. Your fingers curled up into fists your nails digging into the palms of your hand. You body tensed. ‘Forbid me?’ You let all the ange pill out in your scream. Sam flinched behind Dean. Dean’s eyes widened when the flicked over Castiel’s shoulder to you. ‘You can not forbid me from hunting, it’s my life’ Castiel turned around slowly. ‘Y/n, you are reckless. You can not hunt it is for the best’ Your mouth dropped.
He couldn’t forbid you from hunting, sure, hunting was dangerous and sometimes you had to take risks, that was a given. But Castiel couldn’t forbid you from hunting, that was ridiculous. ‘You can’t tell me what I can and can not do with my life’ You growled stalking up to him. ‘I can, and I will, if I see you hinting again I will not be so rational’ You scoffed. Rational, Castiel was being the opposite of rational. He was forbidding you from hunting for crying out loud, that wa the furthest thing from rational you could think of.
He nodded taking your fuming silence for agreement. ‘You will not hunt again’ He clarified. He was using that I am an Angel of the Lord voice. The one he used when he was confronted with a demon or someone who needed to be ordered around. ‘You are too reckless, it puts your life in danger and others around you. Right now, you are not meant to hunt’ Dean took in a sharp deep breath behind Castiel.
Sam visibly flinched and began to rush forwards. Not meant to hunt? Did he really just say that to you? That you weren’t meant to do something you’d been trained to do since you were little. You weren’t meant to follow in your Mother’s footsteps? Before you could help it your hand snapped out. Castiel stumbled slightly from the blow to his face. ‘How dare you’ You screamed. If you had been in a comic there would be steam coming out of your ears right now. ‘You absolute asshole, like you know anything about hunting. You’re a stuck up stupid ass Angel, you pretentious prick’ Castiel looked back at you.
His hand went to his cheek gingerly touching the spot you had struck. Dean’s eyes were wide, his jaw slack watching you. Never since he had known you had he seen you this angry. And he’d known you for years, he had been there when your Father was killed by a witch. You had called him for back up when you went to gank her. And not even then had he seen you this angry, it was just spite and hatred that had shone through then. And a desire for revenge. This time was different, Castiel had struck a nerve, and he’d definitely hurt your feelings.
Castiel opened his mouth to speak. ‘No’ You snarled. ‘Don’t even try’ You shook your head. You turned stalking away from the three men. ‘Y/n’ You heard Sam’s voice call. ‘Wait’ You waved at him over your shoulder as you turned out of the motel stomping down the road.
You watched as the whiskey twirled in the glass. All your anger had disappeared by now, you had been sitting in this small bar for over three hours. Now you only felt hurt if you were honest.
Was that really what Cas thought of you? Did he really think you weren’t good enough to be a hunter? It was all you knew, you had barely went to school. You were thought lore instead of chemistry, how to take apart and put back together a gun instead of how to write an essay.
Hunting was everything in your life, it was your life. Without it you didn’t have anything. Hunting was in your blood, it was what your family had done for generations. There was nothing else, only hunting. And seemingly you weren’t good enough for it, you weren’t good enough to be a hunter. You sighed closing your eyes.
But that wasn’t what really hurt you, what hurt you was that it came from Castiel. The man you had admired since you had met thought you weren’t good enough. You were a researcher to him, not good enough to go out, to fight, to hunt. He seem you as someone weak, someone who should be left at home like a child. You hadn’t seen left at home since you were 11 years old.
You always knew you weren’t as good as the brothers, you never moved as in tune with them as they moved with each other. You always stuck out like a sore thumb with them. Even Castiel fit in better with them, he was better at this than you, true he had Angel powers on you but he was still more in tune with the boys. You didn’t work with people, you never worked with other hunters. The boys were the first people you’d worked with since your Father.
Maybe you just weren’t good enough for them, you were probably better off on your own. That way if you screwed up you wouldn’t bring the boys down with you. Castiel wouldn’t have to jump in front of you. He wouldn’t have to try and help you. Maybe you were reckless, maybe you shouldn’t work with people. You were a good enough hunter on your own, just not with others.
You felt someone sit beside you. ‘What’s a girl like you doing here alone?’ A deep voice asked as its owner leaned closer to you. ‘Trying to get some alone time’ You answered. ‘That’s a hard drink for such a little woman’ You turned your head looking up at him. He was pretty, you’d give him that. ‘Look, I appreciate it and all but seriously I just want to be left alone’ You told him. You weren’t in the mood for this.
You downed the rest of the whiskey and held up the glass. The bartender nodded at you and you slid it to the other side of the bar. ‘Anything you want to talk about?’ The man beside you had righted himself. He was sitting in the stool properly his body facing forwards. He cradled a beer in his hands. ‘Not exactly’ You shook your head and thanked the bartender as he filled your glass again sliding it back to you. ‘Fight with a boyfriend?’ He asked.
You sighed closing your eyes. You took a deep breath and opened your eyes turning your head towards him. You were ready to go off at him but when your eyes landed on his face your words caught in your throat. His expression as only filled with concern and interest. ‘A friend’ You shrugged taking a gulp from your glass. ‘A fight with a friend, he thinking I can’t do my job properly, I’m too reckless’ You didn’t look at him as you told him but stared at your glass.
He sat silent for a moment. ‘What is it you do?’ He asked. ‘FBI’ You told him without missing a beat, it’s what you told all of them. The guys you met in bars, you were always FBI or a journalist or something along those lines. ‘FBI isn’t a job I associated with reckless’ You looked up from your glass to find him smiling at you. ‘It is when it involves saving someone’s life’ He nodded understandingly. ‘Joe’ He held out his hand to you. ‘Y/n’ You took his hand in yours.
You threw another bag in the boot. ‘Hey' You looked up to see Joe walking from your motel room. You smiled at him closing the trunk of the banged up old car. ‘Leaving so soon?’ He smirked. You nodded. You had gotten talking to him after he had approached you, you had told him about your fight with Castiel and had gotten talking. You had both drank a little too much and ended up in your motel room. ‘Duty calls’ You shrugged. He nodded. ‘It was nice talking to you, thank you for the night’ He smiled down at you. ‘You’re welcome’ He leaned forwards and pressed a kiss to your forehead.
You smiled watching him as he strode from the lot. Just as he was leaving Sam came jogging in by him. You groaned. Joe turned and gave you one last wave, you waved back at him. Sam’s eyes fell on you and he glanced between the two of you. He jogged over to you.
He stopped beside you panting and sweaty. He raised an eyebrow at you. ‘You not coming with us?’ He asked. You shook your head leaning on the car. ‘I think it’s time that I got back out there you know?’ He furrowed his eyebrow. ‘Is this about Cas last night?’ He leaned against the trunk beside you. ‘I don’t work well with you guys, I know that. I’ve known that from the beginning’ You shrugged pushing yourself up. ‘I work better on my own’ You felt his hand wrap around your arm.
You turned and looked up at the lovable giant. ‘Cas was worried, he cares about you. Sure he over reacted but it’s just because he was worried about you’ Sam’s face was soft and open. ‘He can’t heal you now without everything,he’s just worried’ You sighed and pulled away from him shaking your head. ‘Sam, I put you guys in danger, it’s fine.Like I said, I work better on my own’ He strode around you. He slammed his hand on the door when you took the handle in your hand keeping it from opening.
You glared up with him. ‘Hey’ He smiled down at you. ‘Y/n’ He sighed and you narrowed your eyes at him. ‘At least have breakfast with us’ You shook your head. It was bad enough that Sam had caught you about to leave. With the way Castiel had reacted yesterday you didn’t want to see him before you left. Who knows how he would react to you wanting to go on your own. ‘We won’t make you stay Y/n’ Sam leaned down a little. ‘Dean and Cas will want to say goodbye, you can’t sneak off’ You sighed and nodded.
You followed Sam back to the room. ‘I was going to text you know, I just didn’t want to deal with Cas going off on me’ Sam nodded understandingly opening the door. ‘He doesn’t think I’m good enough to hunt with you he definitely will freak out if he knew I was going off on my own’ You explained stepping into the room and Sam stepped in behind you.
He looked over your shoulder and you tensed. ‘You wanted to leave?’ You closed your eyes at the deep voice coming from the corner of the room. Sam patted your shoulder. He had planned this, that much was obvious. ‘I need a shower, Dean’s out for breakfast’ You opened your eyes to see him walking across the room towards the bathroom. He gave you a smile before shutting and locking the door.
You looked back at Castiel. He was looking at you with a frown, his eyes squinted and head tilted. You sighed and began walking towards him. You pulled out the chair across from him and sat down on it. ‘Yes, I was going to leave. It’s for the best’ You told him. His frown got deeper at your words. ‘You can not leave’ He grumbled. ‘Why because I’m not a good enough hunter to go out on my own? Because I should be in here reading while everyone else is out there risking their lives? Because I’m not good enough to hunt with you?’ You snapped at him and crossed your arms.
His brows unfurrowed and shot up. ‘Why would you not be good enough? You’re an excellent hunter’ Castiel breathed. You looked away from his face. Your eyes fell on Sam’s laptop. ‘Is this because of what I said yesterday? I was going to apologise today, I did not mean what I said to you. I do not know why I said those things’ You remained silent not wanting to speak to him. ‘I realised I was wrong for saying those things the moment you struck me. I did not mean to doubt your abilities’ You bit your lip and looked down at your fingers as they picked as your hoodie. ‘I shouldn’t have hit you regardless, I apologised’ You said coldly, your voice a monotone. You did feel bad for hitting him and you regretted it but you weren’t going to let yourself get invested.
You heard Castiel sigh. ‘Please don’t use that tone with me Y/n. I did not mean anything I said. I-I do not know what was wrong with me. I just acted on the feelings I had’ That got your attention. Castiel was always so stiff, sure he expressed feelings but for him to admit it straight out like that was odd. You looked up at him.
He was still staring at you. ‘What feelings?’ Castiel pursed his lips and blinked slowly. ‘I was afraid, I could have lost. I did not think you had intercepted that knife. I thought you were hurt. I panicked and then I realised you were okay. I was relieved, even happy. But I realised it was easy to lose you. One false move on a hunt and I could lose you’ He paused for a second and you could feel your resolve melting. ‘I was worried I was going to lose you, I do not want to have to watch you die and hunters die’ Castiel confessed. You felt your eyes well up slightly.
You stood quickly and walked around the table. You bent and wrapped your arms around his shoulders. He tensed but you kept holding him. ‘You won’t lose me Cas. Okay you might’ You whispered ‘But I’ll go out helping someone and doing what I need to do, what I love doing. I’ll go out fighting and with a gun in my hand’ You let go of him and stood up straight. He looked up at you his eyes wide. ‘I’ll go out the way I should go out’ He nodded.
You smiled slightly. ‘You are good enough. You are the best hunter I have ever seen. The Winchesters are not even as good as you. I believed if I kept you doing research I could keep you alive longer’ Castiel stood and now it was you looking up at him. ‘I worry for you. I over reacted. I am sorry. you are good enough to hunt you are an amazing hunter. I do not know how I can to assure you of that fact’ Castiel reached out hesitantly.
His hand hovered over your shoulder for a second before he turned his hand and softly placed it on your cheek. He leaned forwards and pressed his lips to your forehead. It was an action that allowed you to close your eyes and shivered slightly. You smiled.
Castiel pulled his soft lips from your forehead, but only an inch so you could still feel his warm breath on your skin. ‘Stay and I will tell you everyday how good you are, I will make take away your doubts that you are not enough. You will always be enough’ Castiel promised. ‘I’ll stay’ You breathed and wrapped your arms around his torso pulling him into a hug he responded to this time.

Writers Break
Hey Guys, there will be nothing from me until Monday at the earliest. I am going to a festival all weekend and won't have any internet. Awhh, but I will be back soon :)
And seeing as I’m going away I’m going to leave you with an extract from one of my new Cas fics :)

Steve (Cas) x Reader
You slipped on the black heels you were wearing for the occasion. The long evening gown that you had on was beautiful, and had cost you a solid fortune. It was a low back with golden chains connecting both sides. It hugged your curves perfectly and you were very excited about tonight. You stood and looked at yourself in the mirror.
The red lipstick was perfect, and the eyeshadow made your eyes really pop. The loose updo you had showed off the long curve of your neck. Twirling a little you watched as the dress swung with you. It would be perfect, just perfect. Bending you retouched the red of your lips and you grabbed the gold bag you had borrowed from a friend.
You turned grabbing the bottom of your dress and walking from your room. The shawl you were wearing was downstair. The usual quick descent took a few seconds longer seeing as the heels you wore tonight were taller than the ones you wore on a normal bases. You petted the dog as you walked by the chair. He looked up half opening an eye and then dropped his head back onto the couch. ‘Lucky it’s not you I’m trying to impress tonight’ You mumbled walking towards the kitchen.
You needed some water, your mouth was dry and you couldn’t just sit around waiting. Your stomach twisted and turned as you looked at the clock. It was almost six, you were ready ten minutes early, that didn’t surprise you. When it came to things like thing you always made sure to be early. You wrapped your lips around the straw sucking the water through it trying not to smudge your lipstick.
You tensed as the doorbell rang. You glanced at the clock. Still ten minutes early. It wasn’t him, it couldn’t be. Who was ever this on time apart from you? You left down the cup and took a deep breath. You let your eyes close as you exhaled. The false lashes you wore tickled your cheeks and then above your eyes as you opened them.
You turned on your heel and strode towards the front door. You stopped and checked your reflection in the mirror that hung in the hallway before nodding. You looked good, in fact you looked absolutely incredible. You had done well, the extra hours put in really paid off.
You laid your hand on the door smiling. You had even gotten your nails done for tonight's event. Not just because it was a big company ball which meant everyone would be there, and looking at you. But because of who you were bringing, you wanted to look good enough to be the one on his arm, because god he looked like an Angel. Plus if you looked good tonight who knew where it would lead.
You opened the door and your eyes fell on the exact person you had been waiting for. He stood with a nervous smile on those beautiful, kissable lips. And, man, did he look good in a suit, heavenly, good enough to eat. You let out a soft sigh and he shifted nervously. ‘Hi, Steve’ You breathed. ‘Y/n’ He nodded his eyes taking in every inch of you. ‘Let me grab my coat’ You told him turning.
You grabbed the shawl from the chair and your purse. ‘Bye Benny’ You patted the door before walking back to the door. ‘You look beautiful’ Steve said. His gravelly voice doing wonders to your body, goosebumps erupting on your skin but you weren’t even cold. ‘Thank you, you look very handsome’ He pulled at the jacket as you locked your door. ‘I was not sure about the tie’ He muttered.
You looked at him. ‘It’s wonderful, absolutely perfect’ He looked up at you through his lashes. His face lit up and you felt your heart melt, this man was something else, he was perfect. ‘Shall we go?’ He smiled and held out his arm so you. You threaded your arm through his elbow and left your hand on his forearm. ‘Thank you for coming Steve. You’re amazing’ You swore you could have seen a faint blush on his cheeks. ‘Anything’ He breathed and you ducked your head to hide your own blush.
Tonight was going to be perfect, no matter what. With him there, you doubted it could be anything but.
So yeah.....I’ll see you all next week !!!!! I’m off to PARTY !!!!!!!
