When I was 7, I went to the doctors for my checkup. The doctor came into the room with the intention of telling my mom that I needed glasses. I, however, walked over to him with my tiny legs and said, “I think glasses would be cool.”

This poor dude spent the next 2 minutes trying to figure out if I was a mind reader. Eventually, he walked out of the room without saying anything.

a year later, my mom and I go to the same doctor. He sees me and says, “so no glasses then?”

he completely forgot to tell us that I needed glasses.

my glasses do look cool though, so at least 7 year old me was right.
