12. Sneaking away to a hidden corner to share a secretive kiss
Alright, thank you @heliophile7 and @disneysgreatest92 for requesting #12 on the prompt list: Sneaking away to a hidden corner to share a secretive kiss. Here we go.

Rick Tyler could say with all the confidence in the world that his absolute favorite thing was spending time with Beth Chapel. Even before they started dating, Rick took enjoyment in being close to the girl. But between going to highschool and fighting crime, having alone time with his girlfriend was a rarity he had come to cherish and appreciate, relishing in every quiet moment together, no matter how few and far in between they were.
Beth on the other hand was a very different story. She loved hanging out with her boyfriend a lot. A part of her was peeved at the lack of one on one interaction they had. Sure, they went on patrol together some nights, but the two were a bit preoccupied, worrying about crime and such, to do much. She did her best to make up for lost time with lots of hugs in passing around school, but it wasn’t the same.
So that led them here. Yet another day of training, repeating the same routine like clockwork from the moment they stepped inside Pat’s garage to the moment they left. The two teens were admittedly quite used to the cycle.
While Courtney and Yolanda practiced their fighting technique on one side of the room, Beth and Rick did the same thing on the other. Beth had her goggles on her face, Chuck examined Rick’s moves as he smacked around a punching bag. Beth had been giving the boy a string of kind feedback supplied by Chuck.
She admired his physique greatly and constantly told herself how lucky she was to have such a caring -and admittedly very attractive- boyfriend. Her eyes trailed up from Rick and to the rest of the room, eyes landing on the balcony area where their couch was placed.
Rick had noticed her silence and halted his attack on the punching bag, moving his gaze to the now quiet girl. He followed her eyes to the balcony before moving them back to her. She was now looking at him once again. She smiled sheepishly before gesturing to the balcony and getting up, walking over to that part of the building.
Rick raised his eyebrows and looked around the room, making sure no one was paying attention to his movements. When he was sure Courtney and Yolanda were deep in their own training, he followed Beth up the stairs, careful not to draw his friends’ attention. He arrived and was greeted by a tight hug from his girlfriend.
“What’s the occasion?” Rick asked, happily wrapping his arms around the girl.
“Just missing you.” she mumbled in his embrace.
“We see each other every day.” he chuckled when she tightened her hold on him.
“You know what I mean, we don’t get any time alone,” she clarified playfully, turning her head upward to look into his eyes. He caught her gaze and grinned.
“Do you think they’d notice if we didn’t come back?” Beth wondered aloud.
“We make up half the team,” Rick reminded teasingly, trying his best to sound serious, he couldn’t keep the smile out of his voice however and simply shook his head.
“So?” she questioned, leaning her face closer to his own. “Does it really matter. I’m sure they won’t mind.” she mumbled as she got closer.
Rick leaned down and gratefully accepted the sweet kiss. He cupped her face in his hands gently and pulled her in closer. He could be caught in this moment forever and be the happiest person alive. He melted into the kiss and smirked when Beth’s fingers tangled into his hair.
The two relished in their private moment hidden by the shadows of their new special place
