any other animal kins/therians actually really really like human food. like im an eagle and i dont think i could eat raw meat after all the human food ive eaten (regardless of how my human body would react). i cannot imagine trying to eat raw fish every day after having the deliriously amazing experience of a salmon burger or well seasoned salmon brick. i would miss the cooked seasoned food every day. say what you will about humanity but they do amazing things with food. i would be livid that chocolate and garlic and onion could kill me in a bird body

what are shifts like for you? what causes them and how long do they last (I KNOW ITS A BIG QUESTION you don’t have to answer all of it!)

Hiya!! (I don’t mind! I love big questions!)

Shifts for me usually go two ways:

1. Feeling very excited and happy (especially when with friends) makes me very shifty, I get much more impulsive and get a bit playful lol, though I’ve been able to control this over the years due to some people not being able to handle it 😅

2. I’m VERY overwhelmed via lots of people, noise, stress, etc. which make me shift and feel very small and anxious, like I’m about to be stepped on or attacked

It usually just takes me calming down for the shifts to pass but I’ve had cases where they’ve lingered, usually the more negative ones. When I have phantom limb shifts tend to lead to shifts as well, and they respond accordingly to my emotions. And sadly the limbs can get painful when upset :(

Overall I can’t really enforce my own shifts, I can make myself feel at home and peaceful as if my animal self, but not shifts. Thanks for the question!! I love answering things about nonhuman experiences ♡♡♡
