i’ve been doing some more thinking and i realized when i wear my dark grey tights it looks like i have birdy legs :0 i could also sew myself a pointy black covid mask to look like a beak, and maybe i could also wear a hair accessory to feel like i have a crest? maybe a bow or a bandana,,
i also really want to grow out my nails so they’re nice and pointy :> i just gotta figure out how to grow them in a healthy way
i could even figure out a way to have some kind of tail accessory,, i’ve yet to see too much about gear for birdkin since it’s usually tails/ears/etc for canine and feline kin (NOT HATING AT ALL maybe i’m just a little jealous lmao /lh)

i’ve been trying to draft a pattern for a mask and i realized like how COOL would it be to make an articulated crest?? it would use a stick mechanism like i’ve seen people use with mask eyelids and articulated wings but i don’t know how to figure it out yet,,,, my poor little birdy brain
i permanently feel like i have phantom crest feathers, and i think i might have had something like it before awakening? idk i remember just really wishing i had bird parts yk. i also feel like my arms are my wings, and i also feel phantom back toes a lot, sometimes a beak
