R.I.P Simon Belmont, he woulda loved the 80s 😔

So, little attempt at comic stuff :3. I’ll be putting what the text says under a cut in case it’s still hard to read. Unfortunately this isn’t as high res as I’d like it to be but it was either do this or end up splitting an already short comic into two posts and eh this works, it’s an experiment anyway X3.

(Angel’s Hill)

(Simon walks through the foggy cemetery, all graves say “Belmont”.)

(He stops at one. The grave also says “BELMONT” on the top in bold lettering, but the bottom section is worn and only the names “Christopher” and “Cyncia” are readable.)

(Simon begins speaking, somberly.)

“It’s been a while since last I came to visit. I’ve been…

…reflecting on things lately—

too late— but about what happened then that day and now… well…”

(He hangs his head, shadows of his hair covering his eyes.)

“There’s something I have to tell you.”

(Simon looks away to the side towards the cliff’s edge for a moment.)

“I—”

(The waves are fairly calm below.)

“I won’t be coming back anymore. I came to apologize, say goodbye.”

(He reveals a blackened, shriveled, scarred hand from his cloak.)

“I think my time is getting near, it’s getting worse… again…”

“Everything has these past months, or years really… the townspeople, the nightmares… and this… this… sickness.”

Yeah so that’s it so far, not too many events happening, but it’s based on like a single line or so of the Japanese manual story. I’m kinda considering almost having like all of CV1 be a quick prologue cause it’s important context for story things I wanna do later. Simon’s story is both simultaneously comparatively short, but also somehow a lot (TwT ).

Uh what if uh Fear and Hunger OC um—

I haven’t even beaten the game yet lol. Anyway this is Ahava, they’re cool, I gotta figure out stats and back story and all that for them eventually. I tried mimicking the art style for some of these, idk just imagine the doodles that are in my usual style as their dungeon nights version XD. The two levels of zoom out on the page is probably redundant, but it’s for resolution I guess.

I’m not gonna label this mature since there isn’t anything explicit in the drawings, but just know that Fear and Hunger is a pretty dark horror game if you’re curious about it!

Some attempts at a design for Selena :3. The second image is inspired by the wedding in Haunted Castle, but I changed Simon’s outfit cause idk I just can’t picture him being comfortable in a suit.

The last two of these are way more headcanon-y lol. They’re under a cut mostly in case my headcanons and story ideas change d(^^ ). One of them was inspired by a Kikuo song I was listening to while drawing lol, the song “Let’s Go to Heaven”.

Aaaaaa I actually tried making a comic page for the Simon’s Quest comic I’ve been thinking of making, but two things:

It’s technically like 11 panels meaning tumblr mobile’s 10 picture limit doesn’t fit all of it in one post. (TwT )

It’s kinda a like idk beta test of things and paneling practice since I’ve never really paneled something neatly before, so it might not even be the final version of the scene.

So I’m kinda struggling to figure out how to post it so that it’s readable at the moment and will probably need to take different photos of it again later today (_ _ ;). But yeah, things on that coming soon I guess d(^^).

In the meantime, please appreciate a doodle I did in the backseat of a moving car lol
