how about 5 and 13 for the ask game?!
Hello! 5.) have you ever made a playlist about something you were writing as an elaborate means to procrastinate when you could have been actually writing and if yes drop a link, son
I didn't have to, because one already existed.
But, for what it's worth, I also listen to a lot of metal when writing. A lot of Amon Amarth plays while I write both GYOW and ALAYF. A lot.
13.) talk about a writing experience that has pleasantly surprised you.
Maybe it's a cliche to say, but, for me - probably the community I found while delving into the TLoU fandom. I started posting GYOW on AO3 in the late spring / early summer of 2023, and by the fall I had been invited to a TLoU Discord by the wonderful @march-flowerr (who has since become such an amazing friend) and by February of 2024 I was hopping on a plane to go meet up with a bunch of fellow TLoU writers in another city (and we had such a fun time!). I love having that community of people to talk to, that have become such an important part of my writing process - and even just my general day-to-day, haha. ❤️
Just wanted to say I love you and your words so very much 🥹 I hope you never change. And also I hope ALAYF never ends ❤️
I love you. But...March...

It has to end.
I'm so tired. 🥹

This is the only thing that matters to me today.
For the ask game, 10, 38, and 69 please 🙏🏼
10.) at what point in the process do you come up with titles, and how easy or hard is that for you? I just pull up the Wiki page for Fleetwood Mac, scroll down to "studio albums," close my eyes, and whatever my finger lands on, I pluck a song title from that. ..I'm kidding. But only kind of. 11.) how many stories do you work on at one time?
I generally have one larger project going on (since I fell back into fanfiction, I have been working on GYOW, and then immediately ALaYF, worth about a half a million words combined) and usually at least one short story I have on the side, for when I need a break from my longer fics. I don't like to dabble too much in too many projects at the same time.
69.) how do you write emotional scenes? do you ever feel what the characters feel?
Depends on my mood, and what's going on. I will say that I tend to draw on real-life experiences a lot, so yes, often the accompanying emotions that I write for my characters are ones I can at least relate to.
Joel Miller vibes:
