i am so sorry but liKE the way that incorrect characterization in any way is SUCH A FUCKING TURN OFFFFFFFF!!!!! like i KNOW that we're all a little delulu in the head but if you're gonna thirst over a character.. like KNOW the character.

ex. spencer reid is not a wildly dominant character who is going to continue that dom/sob relationship outside of the relationship. i can see him being a 'soft dom' and like being in control once in a while in the bedroom but like... he's not THAT dominant by any means. if anything he's a sub with a hint of a switch in there when he feels like it

ex. rafe cameron is not a wildly affectionate guy who's going to be sweet and kind at ALL ASPECTS OF THE RELATIONSHIP! like he's going to be snarky and bite and prod because the show depicts him as this morally dark/gray character because that's who he is - not a lovey dovey boyfriend all the time. like i know i have a few dialogues with him being sweet but there's ALWAYS this underlying asshole that always finds its way through because that's WHAT HE IS

ex. jj maybank OR james potter is NOT a hard dom. like james/jj is a goofy motherfucker who cracks jokes at the most inconvenient times. they are golden retrievers and they CAN BE dominant, and they're good at it, but they're not going to call you degrading names and slap you around and be super stern because they're so soft and saccharine with their baby.
