my favorite character observations from ep8 -

sauron telling galadriel that he would worship her light as he penetrates her flesh with morgoth's crown, not letting her break the eye contact while binding her to his darkness. it shows how his yearning has worship border ownership. he gropes to see her as if he worships her, but forcefully binds her in his coveting of her as if he owns her.

galadriel freezing, lowering her sword and just gazing at halbrand. closing her eyes for a second bc it affects her so intensely. truly a tragedy of all times to be in an eternal love with the one who never existed, an illusion created by your sworn enemy. but what if that illusion was the utmost truth for the both of you?
