My style is starting to be a lot more inspired by @ezgurple so Ez if you see this you inspire me.

And for the materials if any of ever want the splatter effect in your traditional art, just use a paper towel and put paint on one part (I used my acrylic paint markers) and dabble it on the area you want it. If you want you can touch it up a bit to make it look more convincing. (I might edit this post to show a more visual steps)
