My favourite moments of AYS so far are when JK is on the phone with Tae and Taekook cuddling in the "pantry". 😄

I absolutely agree. They seem to be equals in their relationship (whatever that may be). There are various occasions where Tae needed some comfort/support from JK, but there are other moments where it's clearly Tae who is being "the stronger one". I'm happy that they are finally able to show how important they are for each other.

I don't think Tae does baby JK to be honest. I just don't think it's a factor in his regard for JK. And JK also treats Tae special. It's an equal thing with them.

Jungkook as maknae is much more defined with his other members. He has this idolisation of Namjoon, a classic big bro/little bro mischief with Jin, Yoongi like a dad, Hobi like a mum, Jimin like an only slightly older sibling.

Tae and JK have always seemed free of age dynamics. Tae said himself he wasn't interested in that with JK and though it took JK a while to accept that, he seems pretty comfy with it now.

I just don't think those hyung-dongsaeng dynamics exist here. Tae never insisted on them and it didn't serve their blossoming relationship and they've grown up without them being a massive thing. Which means they've basically grown up together as equals.

What really endears me to them and what I find remarkable is that they're refreshingly free of binary stereotypes where one is dominant and one is submissive. There are ways in which JK provides for Tae and there are ways in which Tae provides for JK.

All the most volatile couples I know are absolutely married to societal standards that you have one dominant partner and one submissive partner and they don't deviate from that much. If the protective partner needs something, they don't always get it because the onus is on them to protect.

All the strongest couples I know are really like Taekook where depending on who needs what at any given time, they can be that for each other with no baggage or complaint.

Besides, if anything, that snuggle moment in AYS was somewhat unusual because it was such a moment of JK being Tae's little spoon and I can't think of many times when I've seen him so softly snuggled in that way.

It’s because Tae and Jk were there by themselves, together.. which basically never happened before. But also, the way they acted was very cute. Jk was super shy and giggly. Tae had to reach for him at one point to join him. The way they looked at each other! Just.. so cute and special.

A while later Tae posted the pic of him and Jk after this premiere as well as a short clip which showed them alongside Wooga (Park Seojoon was a part of Dream cast).

I also disagree with basically everything this anon said, but this part took my attention about something that I was thinking these days, and I wanted to share my perspective about this whole narrative that jkkrs and some armys have about how much jkk we get on official content, and bc of that it somehow proves how closer/real they are. I wish I could say more about the other stuff, but unfortunately it took me almost 4 years of being an army to really start believing in taekook, but I was an active army and I did consumed tkk content, and I believe I had a pretty neutral tl because I did not believe that tkk were together at the time and did follow ot7s and people that shipped all types of ship because I liked to consume fics and fan arts form all kind of ships from BTS. But this narrative of BTS dvds are basically all jikook content that some people try to push is kind of a lie. Yes they do have lot of moments on it, but I was an active army on twt since 2017, and what I remember what happened for like 2/3 years in a row is that one of the first persons to get the dvd and release content of it was Peaches, a disgusting jkkr tae anti by the way, which basically released only their moments or moments that involved only Jimin and Jungkook excluding the other boys, specially Tae. So what actually happened was that for a few hours in twt what we basically had of memories was all jkk content, and you have no idea of how armys had a really short attention span at the time. Memories 2019 for example was released while BTS was promoting dynamite and in the soop was being released, so lots of things were happening at the time and I remember some people did not even talked about the DVD after a few hours due to all content that we were getting and since it wasn`t the freshest new we had at the moment. Not to mention that in memories 2019 was the same dvd that if I'm not mistaken we got like not even 1 minute of tkk content inside of more than 700 minutes of content, so it wasn't even like a fair comparison when the only ship that could make more noise than jikook had like 2 moments for tkkrs to hype it up and when it took hours for us to get in the tl because the only person who bothered to upload tkk content got her dvd later than others when people were not even talking about it anymore. And to give an example of how a person who gets their hand on the content first can impact the tl, what also happened in memories 2021 is that one of the first persons to get it was a taekooker and tl at first was infested with taekook moments and photos, I even remember some tkkrs saying that maybe hybe were finally releasing more tkk contents again, and some army discussing that they seemed to be closer again. This also happened with magic shop in Japan which I remember one of the first moments we got on our tls was the "still number 1 without makeup" because a jpn tkkr got her hands on the dvd first than others. And just to clarify I don't remember army complaining about it anon, I actually remember that in memories 2021 lots of ''army's' and jikooker were desperate and making hit tweets about how peaches needed to get her dvd soon they could get jikook content on their tls, ignoring the fact that they were a whole Tae anti who dismissed him and tkk/vmin moments. My point is that sometimes these kind of narratives are not only created by hybe, but it can sometimes be created by fandom and big accounts themselves and create a whole herd effect of misinformation about who is closer than who, and that is complicated for us to state something when our tls can basically direct what it will tell us, specially when most won't have the patience or means to go through 500/700 minutes of paid content and will probably hype the most out there moments. And to finish just wanted to add but I'm from latam and also became an army in 2017 and at least here jkkrs have been huge since then, totally overtaking tkkrs, and I hear stories of them causing trouble here to armys and Tae way back from 2017

I am so excited and I can't wait to finally watch "Are you sure?". I know that some Taekookers are dreading that show but I'm personally looking forward to it. Whether or not we are going to see a Tae cameo, hm, I'm not sure, but seeing more of Jungkook and Jimin is perfectly fine with me. (I am getting strong "bro vibes" from the trailer.) Hopefully the three-bed mystery is going to be solved too really soon. 😂

honestly i do think taehyung is gonna show up in are you sure. i think they’re not showing him in the trailers bc he’s gonna be a surprise/special guest so they don’t wanna spoil it. it would be rlly idiotic to not have him show up bc everyone who pays attention knows he was there. especially since taehyung posted it on his insta like everyone knows….it’s 100% fact. maybe it won’t be for very long but i think they will show him at least a little. like “oh look who came to meet up with us, surprisssse”.

This whole weird "date" situation by the campfire and what they were talking about contradicts everything (!) else happening around the same time. To me they don't appear like two dudes who used to be best friends, grew distant, reconciled and now somehow try to be close again.

To counter all the "Taekook were distant" narratives... if you feel like it, please send me your reasons for not buying into that.

I got into BTS rather late (2020/2021), but Taekook actually caught my attention pretty quickly. I think one of the first things I saw and found a little suspicious (or weird) was the 2020 carnation-crafting live. I mean, Taes sassy eyeroll, his whole demeanor...😂 That quickly drew me into the Taekook rabbit hole. And then fall 2021 happened and ever since then there have been sooo many great Taekook moments. 💜❤️

I would genuinely like to know, if you want to share, what was the moment when you realized that between taekook there could be more than just a simple friendship, or the exact moment were you thought "okay, they're definitely together" !?!

there are many interesting moments that are worth stopping over, certainly their behavior is anything but embarrassing as they are describing it these days

Starting from this, the first time I saw vminkook's live I almost felt like I was the third wheel (and I think Jimin too) it is undeniable that their way of communicating and the search for physical contact is totally different from what they have with the others. Many attribute this sort of affection to the fact that in Korea it is quite common and normal among male friends that are raised together, but here I don't see anything friendly about it, for a moment I thought that jungkook wanted to eat taehyung since he spent most of the live watching his legs lol

During jungkook's birthday-billboard hot 100 live, the look namjoon gives taehyung while he keeps looking at jungkook is something hard to miss and the "you can't get away from me" It's veeeeery possessive, Tae was so clingy and protective with him that day
